About Vyntyge Skynyrd
Vyntyge Skynyrd celebrates the 1970’s era of the Southern rock legends Lynyrd Skynyrd by replicating the band’s timeless music in an upbeat tribue coming this April to The Carolina Opry Theater.
Vyntyge Skynyrd captures the heart and fire of the original band with a show that masterfully replicates the group’s recordings and performances, including those of leader Ronnie Van Zant.
Listeners will be instantly transported back to 1977 and will enjoy classics such as Sweet Home Alabama, Saturday Night Special, Gimme Three Steps, and more. Of course, feel free to yell for “Freebird” as it’s definitely part of the show.
Former Lynyrd Skynyrd drummer Artimus Pyle praised the tribute band.
“Vynytge Skynyrd is helping to keep Lynyrd Skynyrd’s music alive,” Pyle said.
Former Lynyrd Skynyrd Security Manager and plane crash survivor Gene Odom called it “One of the best tributes I’ve ever seen.”
Vyntyge Skynyrd will perform two shows for ample social distancing at 4 and 8 p.m. April 11, 2021.
