Fell in love with the view
My husband stayed here for our first anniversary and the view it's self made us fall in love again! Our oceanfront efficiency was spacious and very clean. We ate at verious restaurants during the day and night and cooked lunch in our room. The staff was very nice and the pool bar was wonderful and convenient. Overall, we had a great time and plan to come every may with our family.

Relaxation
We are from Trenton New Jersey and we have family that lives in Myrtle Beach. We go to visit at least once a year and we either stay at Hotel Blue or Captain's Quarters and we always have a beautiful stay, the rooms are kept clean, daily housekeeping and always a friendly staff. The only thing that we recently had a problem with is the internet and Wi-Fi for our cell phones, but other than that awesome time and thank you so much for that! And also have the convenience of booking with the hotel certain shows that we wanted to see every time and even our breakfast everything added in and so easy and convenient and I don't have to worry about it bill until it's time to leave! But don't worry we'll be coming back to stay again very very soon!

Amazing
Our family stayed in hotel blue over the summer. The room was clean and smelled amazing and the view was beyond beautiful. It was a great place to just relax sit on the balcony and enjoy a cup of coffee. The swim up bar was perfect in the evenings after we had been on the beach all day. The staff was very helpful and friendly. They made sure we knew of all the events taking place every night. We will definitely be coming back to hotel blue again this summer and every summer after. This trip was our first trip to myrtle beach and hotel blue made it a trip we will never forget.

Wonderful vacation
I chose to stay at Hotel Blue because I have previously stayed there before and had a great experience. I seen they had remodeled on my 2nd stay and wanted to see the changes. Great Service, Great Room
Reservations had been made and when I found out that the room we reserved was smaller than I had hoped, the manager behind the desk very courteously changed our oceanfront room for a larger room to accommodate my two young nieces who wanted more privacy. There was no extra charge and once we saw the L-shaped room with separate baths, TVs, closets, and a kitchen in the middle, we were extremely pleased. My wife, 15 year old son, my two nieces (16 and 18) and I had plenty of room at Hotel Blue and the five of us enjoyed local restaurants, a beach walk, a show, and a helicopter ride during the two night three day stay. I complement the hotel desk staff and the housekeeping staff on providing us a most comfortable stay.

Exceeded Expectations
You never quite know what to expect in Myrtle Beach with many hotels under renovations, ever changing since the last time you stayed, management changes, etc. Hotel Blue was a refreshing find with all the amenities! Loved the clean rooms, swim up bar, shaded patios with gentle breezes and the most helpful staff. I felt safe as a single mom with 2 girls! My stay at Hotel Blue was great. The room was an ocean front efficiency with newer appliances. Loved the location not far from the boardwalk. I had a rental car, based on location I would recommend this hotel even if I didn't have a car because of the available places not only on Ocean Blvd., but could be walked to on Kings Hwy.

Rescued!!
We started out at North Myrtle.but the motel had mold all in our room.so tried 2 other rooms and same thing.had to stay one night.we had already paid for 4 days.but next morning we left north myrtle after calling hotel blue to see if they had any available as it was peak season. Thank god they did.but due to the motel we had already paid for.when refunded it didjusto through right away to our bank.so we had to overdraft just to be able to try and salvage our vacation.i should have just booked for hotel blue anyway.we tried to make best of things.but having no money made it hard to go out to even eat.as fir myrtle beach itself theres no where better to be.

My Favorite Hotel at MB Easy check-in. They listen to preferences on their reservation website and do their best to accommodate you. Rooms are very clean and new renovated. First off, I was very impressed with our low rate at this hotel and that's what sealed the deal for us. The staff was always friendly am helpful, the location on the beach was great, the room was large and had everything we needed! The only thing I found annoying was that the pool and outdoor hot tub were always jam packed every night so we didn't spend much time out there. Other than that our stay was fantastic!

Good couples getaway
My husband and I stayed here in January. When we come to Myrtle with the family for our vacation we always stay at Captains Quarters. Hotel Blue is great for just couples and if Captains Quarters don't have any rooms left. I just wouldn't recommend it for families because of the swim up bar. Overall Hotel Blue was great, it still has hot tubs and lazy river and you have access to everything at Captains Quarters.

Maybe we had an updated room already but ours was fabulous. Clean, great views and the swim up pool bar is great, it may not have the fun family stuff to offer but like for me and my husband we dont have small kids so we were looking for something like this....its where we've told people to stay and they also said they had a good room. I have read reviews before we stayed and altho many were good, they all said they need updated and we just didnt see it, we loved it. Sure there are better in Myrtle Beach, but theres also MUCH worse, its clean, beds are comfy, our feet didnt turn black walking on the carpet....(yea thats happened other places away from MB), its simple and perfect for us. oh and the best part is its in the heart of the fun stuff

this is our 6 time staying at hotel blue. the price is always right with their discounts. they have a pool bar. the rooms are nothing spectacular but clean. the staff and cleaning service are very friendly and nice. If some thing is in need of fixing or more towels they are are right there to accomadate. they have a parking garage which is great and if you get your room from floors 2-8 you can park right outside your door.

Hotel staff was very friendly and for that reason I gave an extra star. Hotel wasn't overly clean. Room wasn't always cleaned in a timely manner - sometimes very late in the day, and had to ask for clean towels as they took used ones and forgot to leave clean ones. Hotel is in bad need of updating.

Great Vacation getaway!
Myrtle Beach is a wonderful fun filled place to visit, for all ages. Such a variety of things to do (shop, eat, relax etc.) The motel I stayed in wasn't exactly the greatest place to stay, nor did it have/offer any good services ( no housekeeping came to our room, indoor lazy river and hot tub dirty, balcony room was off its slide and would not close properly). This particular motel was a different choice than the years before, in a different location than what we were used to staying. Oh well, the overall stay was pretty nice, especially the beach!

First vacation in 10 years
The hotel elevator was very slow. We only had house keeping come to the room 1 time without us calling for them.

Floors needed cleaning
Could use some help with cleanliness. Could also use some updates to the rooms. If I had clean feet when walking into the room they didn't stay that way long. After walking on the carpet with no shoes the bottoms of my feet would be black.

October Oceanfront stay!
We stayed at the Hotel Blue and it was a pretty good stay. I had to call maintenance on the second day because the tub was slowing in emptying water. They didn't help too much. It was still rather slow, yuck. I like the down season because there are less people to deal with. Unfortunately, we were there during bike week and hearing cycles all day and all night got rather old. Overall, I enjoyed the stay because we had an Oceanfront efficiency room and I just adore waking up to an oceanfront sunrise.

Wondeful Family Adventure in Myrtle Beach
The hotel is somewhat ran down but our room was clean. The hallways need new carpet and paint but I did take into consideration it was the end of summer and this was an older resort. Staff was very friendly and made us seem right at home. Love the location and would stay here again

Rooms were clean, rest of the property wasn’t
Loved the beach....the room was clean but the halls n elevators were filthy. Also the pool was horrible with so much pee. We didn't even get in it. Would come back to Myrtle but not at that hotel.

Enjoyed our stay even though it was Bike Week
Had a great time. Enjoyed the Beach and pool. Didn't realize it was bike week, a little loud.

Not a kid-friendly hotel
Hotel was not as family friendly as described. The Vegas Style beach party was not appropriate for kids to be around

Bad time!!
Terrible stay. Property was less than desirable, the staff was rude. Our a/c unit stopped working and we had to switch rooms twice during the night.

Terrible time
It was aweful. Room was bad, had bugs. complained and no one got back to me. Each time I bought the same drink at the pool bar it cost different. The pool party is disgusting. Air conditioner did not work. The refrierator froze all my food. I did not enjoy myself one bit.
