Captain’s Quarters is a kid-friendly hotel in Myrtle Beach that caters to families, couples, or anyone looking for a carefree, effortless vacation. Captain’s Quarters Resort’s main tower includes many lodging options. A standard king or queen room includes a small refrigerator and microwave; each junior suite gives guests a separate living room and bedroom plus a kitchenette; the 1- or 2-bedroom efficiency includes a full kitchen equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, stove, and toaster; and each suite offers a full kitchen plus a separate living area, with a bedroom available in a variety of configurations. Every room includes free wireless internet, a hair dryer, a safe, and an iron. The seasonal Ocean Inn Building, just north of Captain’s Quarters Myrtle Beach, provides four budget-friendly room styles and access to all of the main resort amenities, plus its own swimming pool.
The restaurants at Captain’s Quarters Resort satisfy any craving. The seasonal dining options on-site include Loco Gecko, which serves a variety of casual fare and offers a full bar, and The Tipsy Turtle Pool Bar, known for its pizza, sandwiches, and cooling drinks served poolside.

Took my 3 little kids and they loved the kiddie pool! My teenage daughter took her little brother upstairs to the bowling and they had a ball. Everything was clean, staff was pleasant, and check in was quick. This was our mist favorite place to stay. Can't wait to stay again very soon

Fun place to stay
This is a fun place to stay. If you don't want to go out anywhere, there is a bowling alley in the hotel that you can take advantage of. They also have places to eat or get a drink if you want to as well. The hotel is right on the beach and they have nice pools and water features.

Honeymoon
My husband and I stayed at captain's quarters for our honeymoon. The staff was friendly and we had a nice oceanfront suite. We had a problem with the safe in the room when we got there. The maintenance guy fixed it right away. We loved the entertainment level in the hotel and the breakfast buffet was very good too. We will definitely stay there again.

Birthday stay
Came down from INDIAN TRAIL NC for my Birthday. We had the best time. It had just snowed, and was cold. We were able to swim, seat in the hot tub, bowl, play games, eat at the motel. Was not much open in town, but still had a wonderful time. Thanks Captains Quarters!

Captains Quarters Resort was the best we choosen in a while. With Four children and 2 adults it was a great price. The staff was very nice. The rooms were roomy. All the extras you get, on site bowling, indoor and outdoor pools, hot tubs and lazy rivers. My children are different ages and something for all of them. Oh did I mention we had a great view of the ocean too.

Home away from Home
We are V.I.P. residents(Snowbirds) now after staying at the Quarters for the past 10 years. The management and staff are there for you no matter the situation. Renovations have been taking place the past few years and it is amazing the changes in the Quarters for the best. Those staying at the Quarters either short or long stay are treated with the utmost respect and believe me when I say we would stay no where else in Myrtle Beach, we are looking forward to our 2018 stay and can not wait to see our friends again at the Quarters.

My husband and I have been visiting Myrtle for about 6 years twice a year. We have been looking for a place to stay again and again. Have tried several places but this one seems to fit our wants and needs the best. It has everything all in one area and very convenient to other places we might visit. Per your website we found that housekeeping was on point, everyone in the resort was quite friendly and helpful, an in-room coffee maker with coffee was a must, you had cable that worked without issue and with network channels and the in-house breakfast area Ocean View was a bonus. Unlike other resorts we witnessed workers cleaning the pool area constantly... That is a big plus!!! I believe we have found our place to stay and without breaking the bank!!! ❤❤❤

This resort is awesome. The rooms are clean and beautiful. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The pool areas are clean and kid friendly. We love it there and have vacationed there since 2006. There are lots of things to do there and lots of wonderful places to dine. Definitely Mammys Kitchen for breakfast. Wonderful dinner shows and lots of shopping. We love walking around in the boardwalk area and Peaches Corner. We had so much fun on the golf cart we rented as well. The beach is my happy place!! We love you Myrtle Beach!!

Beautiful week at the beach.
It was are 29 wedding anniversary. When we got to captain quarters and the gave us r room we got champagne to beautiful glasses balloons a nice tote bag a frisbey and a beach towel . Perfect visit to the beach on spring break!
We booked a oceanfront double queen room with a kitchenette. Check-in was easy and they were so polite! Such a nice and clean hotel, a lot of families and we loved that aspect of the hotel. We loved the hammock and pools! It was March so we stayed mainly in the indoor pool/lazy river and outdoor hot tub! But the kid's pool area was really nice! They had a Level Six Bowling Center which had a bowling alley, games, and bar. Vista Nine is the restaurant inside the hotel where there is a breakfast buffet daily! Also, Loko Gecko is a restaurant across the street that Captain Quarter's also has and it's a great place to go to hang out. Although we were disappointed the pool bar wasn't open it was a great hotel and we would definitely stay again!

Great way to shorten an Ohio winter

My first time to see the ocean
It was a wonderful experience. The staff was very helpful in getting me to a section of the hotel that didn't require climbing stairs and our relocation was seamless. Very friendly and right on the beach. Restaurant next door had good food and not pricey, some what slow , probably because of season and one chef/cook.Building very dated, needed better cleaning in bath room floors and spots that probably get a quick wipe and not really cleaned. I believe the AC unit in unit above was leaking through ceiling of our unit by the balcony, the finish from the parging or sheet rock knock down was falling on the AC unit by balcony. It was a non smoking hotel yet some of the employees were in the hall or garage entrance areas smoking and someone was actually putting out their cigarette on the carpet by their entrance doors on the 5th floor beside the 520 room we had. Couldn't sit on the balcony for the cigarette smoke from room beside or above us.All and all for what we paid I would revisit.

Fantastic Ocean View
We booked the angle ocean front room at Captains Quarters for our trip last November. The view is fantastic with both a desk and picture window and no buildings to block the view. Few rooms offer this at a reasonable rate without having to get a suite. We plan to come back and book the same room this year.

The resort rooms are a bit dated. The kids love the pools and lazy river. Housekeeping could be a bit better. There is kind of an odd chemical smell in our room. But who is in their room much! This resort is right on the ocean with heated pools! Nice add on's like bowling and breakfast make this place a one-stop-shop. The pool towels are a nice bonus-if they aren't out. The one down side was $10/day to park in the garage. I would come back to this resort. We had a blast! The friendly staff were great!

Awesome family getaway
We stayed over the 4th of July holiday. Our Room was clean and nice. We had to ask for dish towels because we hadn't received them from the get go. We were lacking a few cooking utensils, which isn't a big deal but a bit of an inconvenience. One thing that was not to pleasant was that elevators took a bit to arrive as we were on in the fifteenth floor. And they seemed to break down a lot. But as far as kids go, they have a lot of activities for children. And they also have their own bowling alley. We would choice to stay here again in the future.

The beach is my favorite vacation spot. Captain's Quarters did not fail me. Our suite was beach front and the view was fantastic! My two young grand daughters were with me and they really enjoyed the lazy river and pools available there. The staff did everything possible to make our stay enjoyable and it was. Being a group of five, we needed extra towels, linens, etc and they were provided without a hassle. The suite was clean but somewhat worn as it was late in the season when we stayed. Parking was great! The balcony provided an excellent view of the beach and the sound of the water was so relaxing.

The hotel was clean, and very customer friendly. The faucet in the bathtub was messed up but they did someone up to fix it. I enjoyed the family feel of the hotel, and my children enjoyed all the extras they had to offer. It was great getting to spend the day at the beach and the evening bowling in their bowling alley. When we arrived It was the end of motorcycle week. I wish someone had told me to wait a day to start our vacation. It was fine we were tired from driving from Chicago. I have two young girls 2 and they loved the beach. The next day was great! Everyone had checked out. It was quiet at the pool. My girls loved walking back and forth from the beach to the pool. We have stayed with Captians Quarters before and just love the hotel. The ship is wonderful for small children and my daughter loves to watch all the activities that goes on (she is still to young to participate). The hotel is always very clean and the rooms are cleaned daily. I guess my only complaint is the parking. I understand they have to limit parking to the guests but I think if you book a larger room like we did it sould come with an extra parking pass. We had to look for parking in the public spaces next to the hotel but they are limited. So we ended up parking our 2 car and not using it the rest of our trip.

I HAVE STAYED AT THIS RESORT THE LAST FEW TIMES I HAVE VISITED MYRTLE BEACH. THE STAFF IS EXCELLENT AND THE ACCOMODATIONS ARE EXTREMELY SATISFACTORY. NICE CLEAN ROOMS AND BEAUTIFUL OF VIEW FROM BALCONY. THE STAFF HERE IS SO PLEASANT AND FRIENDLY, IF YOU NEED ANYTHING THEY ARE MORE THAN WILLING TO GO ABOVE AND BEYOND TO MAKE YOUR STAY THE BEST THEY CAN.

Great hotel for kids!
Wonderful! Most of all kid friendly.Took grandkids and they had a blast!! Have stayed at other hotels but Captains Quarters was best so far.No unruly drunks at the pool as was with some of the other places.This meant a lot to me since we are not drinking people.Really had a good time,parking was great and the hotel is close to other sights that the kids wanted to visit.Yay for Myrtle Beach!!!

Our wedding in myrtle beach!
We had an amazing time in myrtle beach!! We stayed at the captains quarters. We really enjoyed our stay there. The only complaints we had with this hotel are the giant cockroach in the pool area and the elevators suck! We had to wait forever to catch one. With an arm load of stuff we took to the beach waiting was no fun!! Our daughters had a blast! Can't wait to go back!

Perfect place for families

Good value, clean room
The room was very clean, poolside which was fabulous, and yet cheap. We come to MB twice a year for bike week and have done so for more than 15 years. We were pleased with this 3 story older motel for our spring trip.

Captain’s Quarters was perfect spot for family fun!
My stay was great. This was our first trip as a family with the kids. We did speed boat rides, helicopter tours, & a dolphin cruise. We also rode the giant ferris wheel. Our hotel was just right. Great view. Would love to go again with the family I feel we missed so much.

So Much to Do
Our group of 11 stayed at Captains Quarters . The hotel had so much to do to keep the kids busy and entertained leaving the adults time to relax and enjoy a couple drinks from the outdoor bar. We loved that it was right on the ocean and close to everything on the main street. The rooms we stayed in were very modern amd staff was great!

Fabulous hotel for kids
We were looking for a quick inexpensive get a way and chose Myrtle Beach. We have a 3 year old that had a blast and spent most days running the beach. Our hotel was fabulous and we had a such a good time we booked an extra night.

our familys amazing birthdays holiday
we come down every year for all of our birthdays ....my daughters is June 17, my other daughters is the 18th, my husbands is the 20 the and mine is July 1st then my sons is July 5th ...our hotel room was smaller than we imagined we usually stay at bluewater resort. it was very clean and the staff was just wonderful ....definately would stay again with an adjoining room though...had a great birthday foreveryone wish we could stay in Myrtle beach forever

We love Captain's Quarters! Good value, close to everything. Convenient parking, great specials. The kids love Level 6. We have stayed there 3 times. This will be our 4th. Not interested in trying anybody else.

Stayed there for 10 years
Before we bought our RV we stayed there at the Captian's Quarters for 10 years on second week of June. Always clean and friendly and good meals at the restaurant. Never bowled but we inside. Loved the pools and hot tub.

Good hotel
First time to Myrtle Beach last March. Loved the room on the ocean side. Separate bedroom from living area plus kitchenette. Sunrise, low & high tide awesome. Hotel is a little older, could use some updates, but it is nice for the money. Close to attractions.

Winter Stay
So we have gone to Myrtle Beach for about 15 years. Always in August so this is the first time we have been in December. We went right after Christmas through New Years. The Resort is very big and has great amenities. We loved the indoor poolscape with a big pool, 3 big hot tubs, a lazy river. The bowling alley and arcade were great and our kids loved it. There were several downsides though. We had 2 issues with our room which they came and fixed but which became a problem again a day or two later. The breakfast buffet and restaurant is way smaller than the other 3 resorts we have stayed in. The worst part was the noisy guests at 2 and 3 am every night which security didn't seem to do anything about. The manager was very nice and gave us refund on some of our breakfast vouchers and bowling passes and arcade cards for out troubles. We will probably not return even though it had a lot of great features for a winter stay.

Lots to do but outdated a bit.
Our kids had plenty to do with the indoor heated pools and the bowling and arcade. Room was a little musty when we arrived and they tried to charge a parking fee that was not in our bill or online but the manager took care of that for us. We had a 2 room side few room which was fine for the winter for 2 nights. The King bed was hard as a rock which is why we got the room but the queen was the best so we made the kids move. Pools were great and only problem was the guard kept yelling at folks to get a tube but they only had 6 tubes for 20 people but they got more the next day. Food was great overlooking the ocean and it was hot and fresh. The free game card was also nice and the bowling kept the kids busy but it was not cool to have to get covered in smoke smell to walk to the arcade and bowling alley. for the most part it was fun and I can see it being really busy in the summer time so might try it again in season.

Spring Get A Way 2014

cheap getaway
I enjoy beachfront resorts. Myrtle Beach is my favorite because the beach doesn't have a high dune restricting the view. The off season prices are so reasonable it's hard to pass it up. I enjoy the wide variety of restaurants and bars as well. Our stay this year at Captain's Quarters was everything I expected it to be and more. I can't wait to get back.

Lily’s first MB Vacy

Beautiful relaxation
The view from the ocean front window and balcony is magical. To see the dolphins swim by in the early moring is like a dream. The breakfast at the hotel is not something I would recommend, as I had a roach running out of my napkin. I really don't like to mix bugs with my breakfast. :( The in room service was poor, had to call the front desk to get my toilet tissues and towels. The location of the hotel is great and the 6th floor bowling, bar and games is fun for the family. The pools are great and really, everything else is great too, I just did not like the "bug". The price is right for sure and yes, even though I had that bug on my fork, I would visit again, I just would not visit the restaurant at the hotel. And like I said earlier, the view is magical, the sound of the ocean, the fresh air, the happy dolphins, the happy people, the waves..... everything the beach have to offer is jusr wonderful. I've been to Spain, Sweden, Germany, Norway, Finland, Denmark, England..... But nothing is as good as MYRTLE BEACH. My favorite place for sure!

RESTRICTED BUT OK
THE ROOMS NEVER LOOK AS GOOD AS THE PICTURES. CLEANING CREW VERY POLITE AND HELPFUL. VIEW TO POOLS BLOCKED FROM ROOM. PARKING WAS SOMEWHAT CONFUSING. DID FORGET MY HAT, LOL. ALL IN ALL IT WAS OK.

More than just a hotel…
It was enjoyable to spend time in our large room and relax. Bowling is a plus and on site. The lazy river is quite an attraction, however, kids(and adults) were not following the safety rules and that causes confusion. There was an odor that came off the water as well, so for those reasons we avoided the pool and opted for the hot tub instead.

Stay in an Angle oceanfront suite. Those are newer rooms. Great kids pool areas. Parking garage is a plus. Don't eat in the bowling alley! Way pricey for frozen food.

Not impressed
Was not impressed, booked on Hotwire the fees when we arrived were not disclosed and the staff including Managment were extremely rude. We rode down 12 hours on a bike and were just tired, when we arrived they said we had to pay am extra $40+ for fees. Like I said not happy. Also the hotel was dumpy and had cigarette butts and smokers in the halls and kids running everywhere without their parents.

Won’t go back
We used to stay there also, before they added the Pirate Ship to the large pool. Wasn't too bad when we first started staying there...in 1995. But each year, it seemed to go down hill. Rooms were not cleaned to our satisfaction...one time we found corn chips on the top shelf of the closet...and another time we had to call the front desk upon arrival because the bed still had dirty sheets on them! We never stayed there again.

Not Very Pleasant

Didn’t get what I paid for
stayed once, will not go back, rude employees(that was management)expensive(didn't get room we paid for),no bathrooms on the bottom floor to use while youre in pool or at the ocean, have to go back upstairs to your room! bowling was supposed to be included in our package but by the time you paid for shoe rental....it was really expensive..DO NOT RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE
