• We had a very nice stay, on the beach, lots of amenities

  The location right on the beach is a plus, beach is not that crowded, our room was clean, everything was new and worked fine, small kitchenette with refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. no issues, service was great. Not a big pool person but it looked nice. Used the fitness center every morning, lots of equipment to chose from. Food was good for lunch and dinner in the cafe. Starbucks in the lobby area. We had a south view, it was fine, did not pay up for the beachfront view. Area was quiet. Make sure though you book through the resort website for a resort supported room. The condos are individually owned.

• The Best Resort!

  My family and I have been staying at the Long Bay Resort (Now Grande Cayman) for over 15 years! The resort is a great family friendly place to stay. The hotel rooms are clean and well appointed and the Savoy condos offers the absolute closest and best beach views! The pools are clean and plentiful and there are lots of activities to keep you entertained. The restaurants cater to every taste and offer great deals. The staff are always very friendly and helpful. Oh, and yes there is a Starbucks on-site. Before the Long Bay, we stayed at many other hotels, but none have offered as much in such a great location!

• Will definitely be back!!

  We love it at Long Bay!! The pool and grassy area are well kept. The cafe and Martins are convenient and tasty. There's a Starbucks conveniently right there too. Check in is fast and the employees are nice and efficient. Housekeeping can be a little lacking at times. We really only need garbage picked up and fresh towels. It's mainly the garbage pick up that's the problem. The rooms could stand to be updated but that doesn't stop us from returning every June and September. We usually stay in one of the condos.

• Love Long Bay

  My sister and I have been coming to LBR for at least 5 or 6 yrs. We started out coming for a wk once a fall. Now we come spring and summer and stay for at least 10 days. We love it here. The staff is friendly. The resort is clean. The ocean is visable from the pool. What can I say! We only stay here! We tried another place once.....lasted 1 miserable nite! We love LBR!

  We have stayed at this hotel several times, and have enjoyed our stay every time. It is so nice that there is an covered heated pool for when it rains, along with a lazy river. Also, the outdoor pool is nice and large for many to enjoy. And the best is the ocean front view and direct access to the beach.

  This resort has the friendliest staff and best pool/beach area in Myrtle Beach. Had a few issues with room first two of eight day stay and was upgraded to better room at no additional charge. My partner and I have stayed here 10 times in the last 10 years. Best location as it is convenient to head either downtown or up to North Myrtle Beach. Stayed here a half dozen before 10 years ago. • Fall vacation

  We were at Long Bay from 9/9 thru 9/16. Love staying there. The weather was perfect ( except for Sunday and Monday when Irma paid a visit). Long Bay did a great job securing everything and cleaning up the next day. I've been thru hurricanes before but nothing like what Irma was. Was kinda neat except when our room got soaked. Long Bay upgraded everybody's room that was affected. We drove to murrells inlet to Drunkin Jacks thru the tropical weather. Was kinda crazy getting there. They only stayed open half the day since the weather was so bad and the water was right at the restaurant. We've been coming to Myrtle Beach for 17!years usually in June. The past 5 years we've been coming in June and September. We love it there. Meet some great people that we see every September. Love the area. Long Bay has a great pool and grassy area. • Sublime!

  We rent the condo 403 at the Savoy at Long Bay resort and it was awesome! The condo was beautiful and very well equiped. The view was stunning! We could see the ocean from almost every room and the balcony was really spacious. The resort had a plenty of things to do : pools and jacuzzis, restaurants, a tiki bar and an arcade. We went with our two kids and we loved our vacations! We will return for sure!

• MB is the PLACE!

  After several trips to MB, staying in different nice hotels, we were told about Long Bay Resort. That was well over twenty years ago and we have not stayed anywhere else since. It offers all the "things" you've heard about MB. Location is so important and all of MB is at your finger-tips. We are now in our 80s and MB is still our choice of vacation spots.

  There is no place on earth like Myrtle Beach! My family and I have traveled there since I was a little girl and now my daughter loves it as much as I always have. Long Bay Resort was exceptional! • First beach trip!

  This was our first beach trip and my little ones first time seeing the ocean! They loved it! The motel was amazing with the most perfect view! We were on the 10th floor so the sunset and sunrise were at perfect level! Such a nice and clean beach also! My kids have already been begging to go back! I highly recommend the long bay resort! You can't go wrong with the prices, the cleanliness of the rooms, the staff & I can't forget how convienent the Starbucks is 😍We will for sure be booking this motel again when we return (which is hopefully very soon)

• I am a 10-year repeat customer for Great Golf packages at this ocean-front resort!

  I have been coordinating Myrtle Beach trips for my Golfing Buddies for 10 years, and have come back to the Long Bay Resort every year because of great prices, up-to-date accommodations, a terrific beach location, and excellent service from the Golf Director. As a volunteer trip coordinator all those factors are very important to me. There are a lot of other choices, but I have never had a reason to explore changing. The Golf Director at the Long Bay makes it easy to set up and run, so as coordinator I can enjoy the trip as much as all the other guys. All MB golf courses are available no matter where you stay, so pricing and service at a hotel that keeps up with the times are the reasons we keep coming back to Long Bay. Ocean-front condos with a living room, full kitchen, three bedrooms, two baths, and a balcony overlooking the beach make it feel like a home away from home. Oh, and the well-stocked buffet breakfast that is included in the package is so substantial you won’t even have to interrupt your golf round for lunch!

• Newbies at the beach

  This was our 1st visit to Myrtle Beach. We stayed at Long Bay Resort and had an absolute fantastic time. Our room was great with a separate bedroom and it's own kitchen. We spent a little extra to have the kitchen, but it was definitely worth it when we figure how much we saved by not eating every meal out. The balcony view was a little restricted because of a building in front but it didn't bother us. The weather was perfect every day. The beach was easily accessible from our hotel. My 6 year old granddaughter loved playing in the waves. It was her 1st trip to the beach and our 1st trip to Myrtle Beach. We will be back. In fact, my granddaughter said she doesn't want to go to any other beach ever again - only to MB!!! We had a blast!

• Our 52nd Anniversary at the beach

  With my husband facing major surgery, we decided to spend our 52nd anniversary at Long Bay Resort. The room was beautiful with a view of the ocean and was only a few steps to the indoor pool and the lazy river. We received a free breakfast every morning, and midday coffee at the hotel's in house Starbuck's What a wonderful time we had--the staff was so friendly and helpful, giving us directions for church on Sunday morning, and telling us where the best shows were for our anniversary celebration. We love Long Bay. We have been there for family vacations, but our romantic weekend was the best ever.

• Our first Myrtle Beach Vacation

  April 2016 was our first visit to Myrtle Beach and we stayed at Long Bay Resort, The hallway was a little outdated and the game room was closed. The condo was beautiful on the inside.   Wonderful place for family to stay. Everything you need is on sight..restuarants, starbucks, pools, sauna, lazyriver, miniature golf, arcade, etc... Walking up looking out at ocean is a beautiful site. If you get upgraded room than that's really nice amenities. Good customer from front desk clerk Dawn who needs to be promoted to Manager.

• Great, Responsive Staff

  Took a group of 25 down for a retreat weekend. Several little "hick-ups" that happen in large facilities occurred. The staff was quick to respond, curtious and apologetic. Things happen in life. We all hope to be given the change to make amends. They did. We were very pleased. The staff makes the place!!

• The Whole Experience

  Me and my two sisters stayed at Long Bay for the first time this fall and it was so nice, the staff was so helpful in everything from telling us about the places to eat to where to find certain shops we wanted to visit. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone and we noticed that it had a lot of things for children also. I take my three grandchildren to the beach on their spring and fall break and I plan to stay at Long Bay Resort.

  Having a larger size family and vacationing with small children Long Bay Resort is your place. The 3 bedroom ocean front suites give plenty of room with every amenity of your home. Rooms are nicely furnished and are always clean. Hotel staff are always eager to please. Martin's restaurant offers a great breakfast with River City Grill close by for dinner. We've visited during all 4 seasons with great experiences each time.

  Overall a nice choice. There are several pool/spa options as well as beach. The parking lot was a little tricky with first come-first serve availability. The units were nice enough for an extended stay. The dining options were affordable and the food was tasty. The staff was friendly, helpful and accommodating.

• Long Bay Resort Our hone away from home

  Over the last 5 years our family has stayed with Long Bay Resorts. Not only is it reasonably priced but it is clean. They have one of the best housekeeping staff I have ever dealt with. Rooms are tastefully decorated with quality furnishings. Our particular 3 bedroom comes with washer and dryer in toom, full kutchen, 2 bath and a dining room. For a larger size family it can not be beat! Being located on the beach is great. The hotel offers 2 pools indoor and outdoor, lazy river, multiple hot tubs and children's water park with kiddie pool. After a long day on the beach we relax with the hotels free Red box rentals on site.

• FAMILY VACATION

  WE BROUGHT OUR YOUNGER DAUGHTER, HER DAUGHTER,AND HER TWO SONS PLUS THE GRANDDAUGHTERS BOYFRIEND. THE ROOMS WERE BEAUTIFUL. THE KITCHEN GREAT. LOCATION GREAT. BUT FOR SOME REASON IT WAS NOT AS MUCH FUN AS USUAL. ONE THING THERE WERE TOO MANY PEOPLE AT THE BEACH. I PERFER GOING IN EARLY MAY OR OCTOBER WHEN FEWER PEOPLE ARE THERE. I LOVE MYRTLE BEACH. BUT I WILL NOT GET TO COME THIS YEAR. WE WILL NOT HAVE THE MONEY. NOT EVEN JUST MYSELF AND MY HUSBAND. EVERYTHING COST SO MUCH AND MY HUSBAND HAS TO WORK A LOT TOO. MYRTLE BEACH WAS THE VERY FIRST BEACH I GOT TO SEE. BACK IN 1961 MY AUNT AND UNCLE BROUGHT ME THERE. I LOVED IT THEN BUT IT RAINED THE WHOLE THREE DAYS WE WERE THERE. WE HAD TO LEAVE EARLY BECAUSE OF THE RAIN. THE LONG BAY BEACH RESORT WAS REALLY NICE. IT HAS A LOT OF POOLS INDOOR AND OUTDOOR. THE STAFF WERE VERY NICE ALSO. I DO PERFER TO STAY CLOSER TO THE PIER THOUGH SO AS NOT TO HAVE TO WALK SO FAR TO THE PAVILLLION.

• Stayed here the past 3 years, Happy Overall

  We've stayed at Long Bay the past 3 years and have been happy overall. The rooms are clean and our kids love the kiddie pool area. We always stay oceanfront, and this year we were treated to seeing not one but TWO separate pods of dolphins playing just out past the breakers from our balcony. • Love Long Bay!

  We stayed here 2 years in a row and we love it! The only complaint I have, are the stairs going to our room. Other than that, there are none. We will stay there the next time we visit Myrtle Beach. The staff is great. See you next year!

• Restful GetAway

• Strange room layout

  This was our 1st time at Long Bay Resort and truthfully we were sorry we didn't go back to the Caravelle. The room layout was awkward and we didn't like our oceanfront really being pool front.
