About Caravelle

This resort on the north end of Myrtle Beach includes nine different buildings on its multi-block property, ranging from a high-rise tower to two- and three-bedroom condo complexes. When it comes to selection, accommodations, and amenities, The Caravelle has it all in one of the area’s most exclusive oceanfront neighborhoods.

The selection of accommodations provides families, couples, and solo travelers a variety of standard rooms and one-, two-, and three-bedroom floor plans. Enjoy oceanfront suites and efficiencies at Caravelle Resort and the Tower, St. Clements, or Carolina Dunes, or stay just across Ocean Boulevard at St. John’s Inn, Dry Dock, or Sea Mark Tower. Many of the buildings come with water features, and everyone can access the main building’s sprawling poolscape.

With a long list of amenities spread throughout the property, this resort gives every guest something to appreciate. The main outdoor pool, aquatic playground, lazy river, and Jacuzzis are just the start of the fantastic offerings. There’s also an indoor pool with a relaxing sun deck on the 7th floor. With an on-site spa, game room, picnic spots, and lawn areas with chairs and hammocks, the resort provides plenty of places for guests to play and relax.

The property’s mini-mart and dining options make grabbing a quick bite or refreshing beverage convenient. The Santa Maria Restaurant serves breakfast and seasonal dinners. The Marco Polo Bar & Grill, open seasonally, serves classic beach fare, including sandwiches and hot dogs, plus frozen daiquiris and other beverages.

What’s Near Caravelle Resort?

Located in the Dunes section of Myrtle Beach, the Caravelle is close to some of the Strand’s top attractions, dining, and shopping. The legendary Dunes Golf & Beach Club, a driving range, and mini golf courses are a few of the spots to tee off close by. The resort is a short drive from Restaurant Row, an area with a collection of restaurants serving nearly any cuisine you’d like. Head 10 minutes from the resort in either direction to spend the day at Broadway at the Beach, a family-friendly entertainment complex, or Barefoot Landing, home to an interesting collection of shops, restaurants, and attractions. And a beach vacation isn’t complete without visiting the famous Boardwalk district, one of the best free things to do in town.
