About Sand Dunes
The Sand Dunes Resort is certainly one of the most family-friendly Myrtle Beach hotels. Their oceanfront location offers easy beach access and there are plenty of kid-friendly amenities on the property.
This is considered by most as the BEST LOCATION in Myrtle Beach. A variety of room types make the Sand Dunes Myrtle Beach accessible to families or groups of any size. They offer 1, 2 and 3 bedroom efficiencies, suites and condos throughout the various buildings on the property.
The seasonal amenities are a major draw for the Sand Dunes Resort. The Sands Waterpark is one of the best and one of the LARGEST RESORT WATER PARKS for kids on the Grand Strand. It has waterslides, a lazy river, and plenty of other water features to keep the little ones entertained. The whole family can enjoy swimming and relaxing in an outdoor pool with a lazy river, indoor pool with a hot tub or at the on-site WATERPARK.
Sand Dunes Resort is Myrtle Beach’s more inclusive resort. The Sand Dunes Resort is in a great location on the beach in the upscale 74th Avenue North area of Myrtle Beach.
When you’re feeling hungry, try out the resort’s on-site oceanfront restaurants. There are also plenty of great dining options within blocks of the resort. River City Café is right next door serving delicious burgers. Head out toward Kings Highway and run into other eateries like Liberty Taproom, Sam’s Corner, Bonefish Grill, Jimmy Buffett’s Cheeseburger in Paradise, Lombardo’s and many more.
The Sand Dunes Resort is about halfway between Barefoot Landing and Broadway at the Beach. A short drive to the North will put you at Barefoot Landing where you can choose from many different restaurants, check out a show at the House of Blues, see wildlife at Alligator Adventure, and go shopping for souvenirs and presents. Broadway at The Beach is a short drive South where you can also find a plethora of shops and restaurants as well as attractions like WonderWorks, Ripley’s Aquarium, and more!

This was a Very Nice Place to Stay!
Enjoyed staying at the Sand Dunes again this year. We were in the "South Tower" which is the 2bedroom / 2 bathroom building. The view was good. The unit was clean and very well stocked... It was almost a gourmet kitchen with all the tools, pots, pans, and equipment. Both bathrooms were modern and renovated and clean. The common areas like lobby and elevators were a tad bit dated, but clean and neat and freshly painted. My family will return to this place.
