The Sand Dunes Resort is certainly one of the most family-friendly Myrtle Beach hotels. Their oceanfront location offers easy beach access and there are plenty of kid-friendly amenities on the property. This is considered by most as the BEST LOCATION in Myrtle Beach. A variety of room types make the Sand Dunes Myrtle Beach accessible to families or groups of any size. They offer 1, 2 and 3 bedroom efficiencies, suites and condos throughout the various buildings on the property. The seasonal amenities are a major draw for the Sand Dunes Resort. The Sands Waterpark is one of the best and one of the  LARGEST RESORT WATER PARKS for kids on the Grand Strand.  It has waterslides, a lazy river, and plenty of other water features to keep the little ones entertained. The whole family can enjoy swimming and relaxing in an outdoor pool with a lazy river, indoor pool with a hot tub or at the on-site WATERPARK. Very nice but been a few years since I was there. Enjoyed the pool and oceanfront room. It has a great restaurant w/a wonderful breakfast.
