The My Generation Tour is bringing the soundtrack of an era to Myrtle Beach! Three celebrated groups take the stage for one standout evening filled with the hits that shaped the late 60s and early 70s—performed with the kind of authenticity only the original artists and their handpicked musicians can deliver.
The Lovin’ Spoonful leads the night with the feel-good classics that earned them the nickname the American Beatles. Expect timeless favorites like “Do You Believe in Magic,” “Daydream,” and “Summer in the City”—all performed with the warmth, musicianship, and spirit that put them in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. (Original member Steve Boone will appear on select dates.)
The Hollies bring their signature harmony-driven sound with a catalog that spans “Bus Stop,” “He Ain’t Heavy, He’s My Brother,” “Long Cool Woman (in a Black Dress),” and more. Terry Sylvester, who stepped into the group after Graham Nash’s departure, delivers these classics with remarkable clarity.
Gary Lewis & the Playboys complete the lineup with a run of hits that helped define the pop-rock landscape of the 60s. From “This Diamond Ring” and “Sure Gonna Miss Her” to “Everybody Loves a Clown” and “Count Me In,” their set adds that unmistakable bright, melodic sound fans still know by heart.
