About Killer Queen: Queen Tribute Band
Killer Queen was formed in 1993 when they first began playing public shows at London University, where Queen had played their first shows 21 years earlier. By 1995, the group was so popular that they secured a residency in London’s Strand Theatre which attracted nationwide coverage. The group accepted the award of “Worldwide Best Tribute Band” in 1999 and has since sold out the same arenas Queen did in their prime.
The premier group will be bringing their must-see live show to Myrtle Beach, with their uncanny likeness to the 1980’s era Queen. Their likeness, both vocally and visually, led the group to even be selected to represent Queen in a re-staged tribute held by Sir Bob Geldof for the LiveAid concert.
Killer Queen will begin at 7 PM on October 16th, 2022. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased through the Carolina Opry Theater’s website, at the box office, or by calling 800-843-6779.
