102 Things To Do In Myrtle Beach55. Microbrews

Microbrews

Give your palette a party with a microbrew made right here at the beach. Liberty Steakhouse at Broadway at the Beach and Liberty Tap Room at 76th Avenue North both offer great food and delicious hand-crafted brews. On tap this summer are Rockets Red Ale, a malty red; unfiltered wheat; and white ale among others. Gordon Biersch at The Market Common also brews their handcrafted German Lagers on site. Their motto is "Beer like it ought to be," and the food's pretty tasty, too. On the south end, Quigley's Pint & Plate is a hidden gem, serving both ales and lagers along with upscale pub food. It's worth the drive to Pawleys Island. Many other bars and restaurants in Myrtle Beach offer a vast array of beers both in bottles and on tap. Check out Mellow Mushroom for pizza and a vast selection of brews. Bumsteads Pub offers more than 150 beers and tasty eats.
