Escape the neon lights and loud noise of Myrtle Beach by staying 15 miles to the south at the Litchfield Inn. Located near the historic seaside village of Pawleys Island, the Litchfield Inn offers luxury in a laid-back setting, which matches the island’s motto “Arrogantly Shabby.” But the Litchfield Inn is no too shabby, to say the least.
Litchfield Inn provides a nice selection of room types, sizes and designs, including the Lodge, Poolside, Oceanfront Dunes and Oceanfront Tower rooms with private balconies and spectacular views. Kitchenettes are available in smaller rooms while larger suites have full kitchens. All rooms include free wireless Internet, cable TV and in-room controlled AC/Heat.
Litchfield Inn is even more attractive on the outside, where a huge pool deck with outdoor Jacuzzis, aquatic playground and two pools await guests. The patio offers private access to one of the most pristine stretches of beach on the Grand Strand, with white sand and towering dunes. Guests can enjoy complimentary continental breakfast and free coffee and tea service in the lobby.
Litchfield Inn is home to two oceanfront restaurants – Ocean One for more formal dining and Austin’s Cabana Café for a more casual meal. Visitors can dine inside or enjoy the poolside bar and grill for a cold drink and snack in the sun or shade. Mixed drinks, sandwiches and appetizers are served at picnic tables by the pools.
