Guide to Myrtle Beach Marathon 2024

Myrtle Beach Marathon Overview

Test your endurance at the Myrtle Beach Marathon 2024, South Carolina’s contest of champions. Since its inception in 1998, the marathon has attracted runners to the Grand Strand to set new personal bests and qualify for national cross-country events. This year, the Myrtle Beach Half Marathon and Full Marathon will be held on Saturday, March 2nd. Get your running shoes ready, because this event is right around the corner.

The Myrtle Beach Marathon earns renown as one of the best marathons in South Carolina and even serves as one of the top ten qualifiers for the Boston Marathon. The 26.2-mile trek winds through downtown Myrtle Beach and features scenic views of the sandy shoreline and sparkling Atlantic.

The post-run endorphins are but one benefit of this event: Join the Myrtle Beach Marathon’s finish line festival at Pelicans Ballpark. Whether you’re celebrating your race or supporting a friend, the finish line festival is open to participants and spectators alike. Local vendors lining the ballpark will be serving food and drinks. You can also pick up some extra race-day souvenirs at the retail vendor tents.
