When planning your next trip to Myrtle Beach, be sure to check out these properties so you can bring your furry friends along with you. Of course, there are several dog friendly restaurants in the area, too.

It’s important to be aware of the Grand Strand area’s leash laws to ensure a safe and happy visit with your pets in Myrtle Beach.

Breakers Resort is an extremely popular property in the heart of Myrtle Beach, so its really exciting that they recently joined the pet-friendly trend in town. Guests staying at Breakers Resort will be allowed to bring up to two pets (cats or dogs only), that weight up to 40 lbs. There will be a non-refundable $25 per day pet fee charged to the room. The pet-friendly units at Breakers Resort are available in the Seaside building, and include oceanfront or resort view options.

From November through February, Compass Cove Resort allows visitors to bring their pets along. However, there is a $25 per day fee, and your furry friends cannot weigh more than 40 lbs.

Bar Harbor

Bar Harbor along the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk allows one pet per room. Dogs must weigh less than 30 pounds and measure less than 18 inches in height. Cats and aggressive breeds are not permitted. The cost is $20/night and dogs must be crated when owners are out of the room.

Viking Motel 1811 S. Ocean Blvd. , Myrtle Beach, SC 29577

Viking Motel is another pet-friendly property in Myrtle Beach. No more than two pets weighing under 100 pounds each are permitted. Cats and dogs are welcome. Viking Motel will not accept aggressive breeds. A $15 charge per night per pet will be added to the room rates.

 

Dunes Realty 128 Atlantic Avenue, Garden City Beach, SC 29576

Dunes Realty has several Myrtle Beach rental properties that will allow you to bring your pets on your next trip. Pets staying in a Dunes Realty property must weigh less than 35 pounds and be at least one year old. A $200 Fido Fee; ($300 for two pets) will apply to any reservation that includes a pet.

Elliott Realty Beach Rentals 401 Sea Mountain Hwy, North Myrtle Beach, SC 29582

Elliott Realty Beach Rentals has properties that allow pets. Check with your vacation specialist to find specific fees and rules for each property.

Booe Realty

Booe Realty offers a number of pet-friendly rental options from houses to condos in Myrtle Beach. Pets are welcome to stay for a small fee.

 

Ocean Lakes Family Campground 6001 South Kings Highway, Myrtle Beach, SC 29575

Ocean Lakes Family Campground welcomes pets to Myrtle Beach. Pets are not accepted in any of the vacation rentals on the grounds. Rottweilers, pit bulls or mixed breeds of the two are not allowed at any time. Owners must keep pets on a leash and clean up any messes.

Guests staying at Springmaid Beach Resort may bring their dog along with them for a nice vacation in Myrtle Beach. This resort has 13 rooms set aside in the Cypress building for pet owners. If you plan to bring your dog with yout, you must indicate your intent whehn booking your room, as well as provide immunization records and sign a pet waiver at check-in. Guests may bring up to two dogs weighing less than 35 lbs each (per guest room). Dogs are allowed only in the "Pet Friendly" area outside of the Cypress Building. Pet owners will be charged a daily pet fee of $25 per room.

 

Myrtle Beach Travel Park 10108 Kings Road, Myrtle Beach, SC 29572

Myrtle Beach Travel Park welcomes pets but they are not permitted to stay in the Ocean Villas or travel trailer rentals.

Pirateland Campground 5401 S. Kings Hwy., Myrtle Beach, SC 29575

Pirateland Campground will allow most breeds of dogs and pets but will not allow rottweilers, pit bulls, mixed breeds of the two or similar breeds on the grounds. Pets are not permitted in the vacation rentals. Owners are required to keep dogs on leashes at all times.

Bermuda Sands Resort Myrtle Beach

Comfort Suites is located centrally in Myrtle Beach and welcomes pets to their hotel for $20 per pet per night. They have a two pet maximum per room and pets must weigh under 50 pounds.

 

Century 21 Thomas Rentals 625 Sea Mountain Highway, North Myrtle Beach, SC

Thomas Beach Vacations out of North Myrtle Beach allow dogs in a number of villas. They allow dogs only, with a maximum of two per property, a $200 fee, plus proof of immunizations. Dogs are not permitted on any furniture or beds.

Seaside Rentals Inc. 12 S. Ocean Blvd., Surfside Beach, SC 29575

Seaside Rentals Premier Vacation Homes has a number of dog-friendly beach home rentals. The office must be notified prior to bringing your dog. One adult, small breed is permitted per rental. A $250 non-refundable dog fee is due with the final balance.e
