American Tap House: Located on The Avenue at Broadway at the Beach, American Tap House is an American gastropub featuring a lineup of 54 craft beers. In addition to cold brews, American Taphouse is also home to a menu of chef-inspired food that pairs well with their selection of beers. The menu here boasts dishes that are far from your typical pub fare. Try entrees like the Beer Brine Roasted Chicken, Shake & Bake Pork Chops, Tap House Fish & Chips, Fried Seafood Platter, Tomahawk” Ribeye Steak, Wild Mushroom Chicken, Lemon Garlic Chicken Skewers, Herb Grilled Salmon, and more.

While Carolina Ale House is located across 29th Avenue North from Broadway at the Beach, it is still considered part of the culinary lineup. This family-friendly sports bar and restaurant is a beer-lovers dream as it serves 60 beers on tap! Guests at Carolina Ale House will find a menu that features delicious Bar Bites & Shareables, Soups & Salads, Burgers, Handhelds, Entrees, Tacos, Wings, and Desserts. Start your meal with Frickles (fried pickles) or Crispy Ribs before sinking your teeth into a burger such as the Pimento Cheese and Bacon Burger. Notable entrees here include the Loaded Mac & Cheese, Thai Chicken Bowl, Beer-Battered Fish & Chips, and the BBQ Baby Back Pork Ribs.

This sports bar and grill isn’t just for sports fans! Chuck & Duck’s offers a family-friendly atmosphere to hang out and watch the game or enjoy a meal while you’re out and about at Broadway at the Beach. Guests will enjoy indoor dining as well as outdoor seating on the front patio, as well as the back patio complete with a custom designed fire pit! Enjoy no-frills fare like Buffalo Shrimp, Chicken Wings, Southwest Poppers, Fried Green Beans, and other appetizers. They also offer Salads, Burgers, and Wraps like the Teriyaki Chicken, Philly Steak, and Buffalo Shrimp.

Dave & Buster’s isn’t just a family-friendly arcade – it’s also an awesome sports bar and full-service restaurant! Hungry but not starving? Opt for a Shareable & Snackable item like the Cantina Nachos, Avocado Toast with Mexican Street Corn, Pepperoni Pretzel Pull-Apart, Asian Chicken Wonton Nachos, or the Ancho Caesar Grilled Chicken Lettuce Wraps. Other food items include Buffalo Wings, Chicken Quesadillas, Sliders, Flame-Grilled Burgers, Steaks & Ribs, Noodles & Zoodles, Salads, Soups, Handhelds, and much more!

Good Time Charley’s opened in 2011 near Senor Frog’s and quickly became a popular hangout and a great spot for lunch or dinner. The enormous menu includes an assortment of tacos, paninis, wraps, pitas, burgers, sandwiches, salads, steaks, seafood and tons more. Menu highlights include the Apricot chicken panini served with spinach, yellow roasted tomato, brie cheese, basil Parmesan mayo and apricot raisin mustard on a grilled artisan loaf or the Surf & Turf tacos with sirloin and tempura battered shrimp. They also offer several gluten free options. Stick around the outdoor bar for great people-watching while enjoying a cocktail or a Goodtime Fishbowl.

While Hard Rock Café may not be in the iconic pyramid it was once housed in, the new Hard Rock Café on The Avenue at Broadway at the Beach still has all the rock n’ roll and delicious food! Visitors will easily spot this restaurant with the 40-foot tall red guitar on top of the building. The restaurant itself is decorated with all kinds of cool rock and roll memorabilia, and there is even a stage for live music! The menu at Hard Rock Café features Starters like the Spinach & Artichoke Dip, Southwest Spring Rolls, Three-Cheese & Roma Tomato Flatbread, Wings, and more. Other items include Salads like the Fresh Beet Salad, and Steak Salad; Sandwiches such as the Grilled Chicken Sandwich and the BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwich; Legendary Steak Burgers; and Specialty Entrees like Baby Back Ribs, Famous Fajitas, Twisted Mac, Chicken, & Cheese, Tupelo Chicken Tenders, Cowboy Ribeye, and many other delectable options.

Margaritaville celebrated its 10th year at Broadway at the Beach this summer. The veteran restaurant draws in crowds all season long for its Volcano nachos and Cheeseburgers in Paradise. Every meal at Margaritaville includes a show from the kooky stilt walkers or the hourly hurricane warnings. The revamped menu rolled out in 2014 and includes features like Seafood Mac & Cheese, a shrimp trio, Asiago crab dip, White Cheddar Cheese Curds and Key West Quesadillas. You can wash all of that down with your choice of boat drinks.

If you’re in the mood for seafood, then check out Joe’s Crab Shack. This family-friendly restaurant offers delicious food in a fun atmosphere. Start off your meal with a Shack Snack like the Crab and Shrimp Dip or the Voodoo Chicken Bites before moving onto a Soup or Salad or another menu item. Popular items here include the Steampots, and Crab Buckets, but there are also other seafood items to choose from. Enjoy a selection of Shrimp and Fish dishes, as well as Lobster Tails, platters, Crab Cake Sandwiches, Shrimp or Fish Tacos, and the Crispy Shrimp Po’Boy. Don’t like seafood? Try a sandwich like the Chicken Sandwich, Burger, Chicken Voodoo Po’Boy, or an entrée such as Chicken Tender, Pasta Alfredo, Joe’s Top Sirloin, New York Strip,  or the Grilled Herb Chicken.

Take a step back in time at Johnny Rockets! This fun diner-like eatery is fun for the whole family. Guests will enjoy an all-American look and feel with tabletop jukeboxes, as well as servers who dance and sing! Here, diners will enjoy menu items such as hamburgers, classic sandwiches, chicken tenders, fries, salads, milkshakes, and malts.

Kiwi the Macaw will greet you at the door when you enter Key West Grill. Their tropical menu focuses mainly on seafood but you can also find pizzas, pork specialties, pasta, burgers and rice bowls. The charter captain’s fresh catch of the day can be prepared one of eight delicious ways- Key West, Blackened, Broiled, Island, Havana, Scampi, Caribbean or Grilled. For a true Key West experience, order a cup or bowl of the Conch Chowder!

King Kong Sushi serves over 100 types of maki, nigiri, sashimi and specialty rolls. My personal favorite is the No Name Roll which features fried shrimp and crab topped with tuna, avocado, spicy may and eel sauce. They also offer hibachi and entrees like Seafood Udon with tuna and vegetable broth served with shitake mushroom, shumai and Japanese thick noodles. Join them late night on the weekends for a party atmosphere.

Seafood lovers visit Landry’s Seafood year after year for the variety of fish, shrimp, oyster and crab dishes. They offer six signature fish dishes including fresh catch Pontchartrain; crab and crawfish stuffed flounder and blackened redfish etouffee. Platters, pastas, appetizers, salads, sandwiches and steaks are also staples at the restaurant. Local tip- Landry’s has one of the best happy hours around with $5 cocktails, $6 martinis, beer, wine and liquor specials plus $4-6 appetizers ranging from fish tacos to fried artichoke hearts.

Liberty Steakhouse and Brewery combines two of my favorite things — beers and steaks. They serve around 8 micro brews including seasonal blends and standards like Liberty Lager and Rocket Red Ale. Start off with a shareable” like the fried bread and butter pickles or the boiled peanut hummus. The beer-cheese soup is also worth a taste! Signature steaks on the menu include a center cut ribeye, filet mignon, sirloin and prime rib. The menu also offers a variety of chicken, seafood, ribs and sandwich selections. The bar is a great happy hour spot where you can even order a pint of bacon!

Hey Y’all! Make your way to Paula Deen’s Family Kitchen at Broadway at the Beach for some good ol’ downhome eatin’. This restaurant serves family-style dishes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner throughout the year. Those looking for country cookin’ will find it here with Fried Chicken, Pot Roast, Fried Catfish, Creamed Potatoes, Mac and Cheese, Collard Greens, and other Southern-inspired fare. 

Go to where the fiesta is —Senor Frog’s! Get the party started with a Starter such as Nachos, Queso Dip, Sliders, Wings, and more. For hungrier guests, there are a variety of entrees available. Try Coconut Shrimp, Fettuccini Alfredo, Grilled Chicken Pasta, Caesar Salad, Chicken Taco Salad, Grilled Chicken, Chicken Frenzy (3 chicken tacos with cheese, 2 mini chicken chimichangas, 4 buffalo wings, and 1 chicken quesadillas), Chicken Enchiladas, Burrito, Chimichanga, Fajitas, Tacos, Burgers, BBQ Chicken Wrap, Crunchy Chicken Sandwich, Philly Cheesesteak, and the Mexican Platter!

Sweet Carolina’s serves some of the best BBQ in town. They smoke their meats carefully to bring out the full flavor. Their cornbread is homemade and is some of the best on the Grand Strand. Menu selections include BBQ pork, chicken, baby back ribs, brisket, salads, appetizers and tons more. Take your pick of the three BBQ sauces to find the perfect flavor profile for your meal.

The Grumpy Monk is a great place for those who like beer and good food. This restaurant, which also boasts another location in the Carolina Forest area, is known for its fresh sushi as well as 10 rotating taps featuring brews from the Carolinas. In addition to fresh sushi, The Grumpy Monk also served menu items like burgers, wings, salads, steaks, seafood, and more. 

Made famous by celebrities Mark & Donnie Wahlberg and their executive chef brother, Paul Wahlburg, Whalburgers at Broadway at the Beach is the perfect place to stop for a good burger. The chef-inspired menu here features gourmet burgers made with fresh Angus beef made with a blend of brisket, short rib, and chuck. Try a House Burger such as the Double or Triple Decker, or a Specialty Burger like the BBQ Bacon Burger, the Super Melt, the Fiesta Burger, the Thanksgiving Turkey Burger, The Beast (two 5 oz burgers, lettuce, tomato, pulled pork, housemade bleu cheese sauce, pickles, and bbq sauce), and the O.F.D. (Originally from Dorchestah) which is a 1/2 lb burger, Swiss cheese, bacon, sauteed mushrooms, and housemade tomato jam. Other menu items include Fresh Salads, Sandwiches, Sides, Kids menu items, Frappes, Floats, and Desserts. 

Get a true hibachi dinner experience at Yamato Steakhouse at Broadway at the Beach. Take your pick from shrimp, steak, chicken, lobster, scallops, mahi mahi, salmon and vegetables and watch as it’s carefully prepared on your table’s hibachi grill. The talented chefs perform fun stunts as they whip up delicious meals. Yamato also serves sashimi dinners, sushi and a variety of appetizers like seaweed salad, gyoza, beef tataki and ahi poki.
