About SOS Fall Migration 2026

The SOS Fall Migration is slated for September 18-27, 2026, in North Myrtle Beach to celebrate our state dance, shagging. Shaggers will come to the beach for the last event of the season.

The SOS lounges in the area host dancing, tea parties, classes and live music. Hot spots include Ducks, Duck’s II, OD Arcade, Pirate’s Cove, OD Beach & Golf Resort, and Fat Harold’s.

Shag dance lessons will be offered at various locations throughout the event, so new and experienced shaggers can hone their skills.

Join the group for block parties on the first Sunday and only Monday of the event. Fun Sunday is in the street beside OD Arcade, and Fun Monday is on Main Street from OD to Hillside. Vendors will sell food, drinks and merchandise during the events.
