Guide to Myrtle Beach Bike Week – Spring Rally
If you’re interested in Myrtle Beach Bike Week 2024, also known as the Spring Beach Rally, we have all the information you need for a memorable getaway. This event is made for those who love motorcycles and bikes, whether you ride or just like to hear the roar of the engine. It’s a time to come together with those who share your values and passions, in a fun and exciting beach atmosphere. Visitors return year after year to meet up with old friends, make new ones, and enjoy a vacation centered around this favorite hobby.
Myrtle Beach hosts two annual bike weeks, one in the spring and one in the fall, welcoming motorcyclists and motorcycle enthusiasts to enjoy several days of fraternization and festivities in the Grand Strand. The Spring Rally draws 300,000 – 500,000 bikers and visitors each year, with over 200 bikes participating in the annual Veteran Ride that takes place during the week. Because there is so much to do and see in the Grand Strand, we’ve put together a complete guide, including event details, where to stay, and where to eat during the week. Event Details
Spring Myrtle Beach Bike Week 2024 will take place May 10th – May 19th. There is no specific location —this event takes place throughout the Grand Strand from North Myrtle beach all the way down to Georgetown, South Carolina. Bikers can ride and rev to their heart’s content from Highway 31 in the north to Highway 544 in the south, and spectators can watch the parade of motorcycles as they pass by.
Rules and Regulations
- Visitors must be at least 21 years old to consume alcoholic beverages
- No open containers of alcohol allowed in vehicles or in public areas
- Under SC law, all bike operators and passengers under 21 must wear a helmet
- Speeding and seatbelt laws are strictly enforced
- No littering
What To See at the Spring Beach Rally 2024
There is much to see and do during the spring in Myrtle Beach, and Bike Week is a wonderful time to experience all the Grand Strand has to offer. Most restaurants and entertainment venues welcome bikers and visitors with open arms and daily specials. Many of the shops and businesses in Myrtle Beach offer deals and discounts on stock specialty items and accessories during the rally. Myrtle Beach is filled with attractions and things to do and there’s no shortage of dining and shopping options to fill your vacation. But the biggest attraction is the thousands of motorcycles that parade through the streets during the week, stirring up an air of excitement.
Annual Motorcycle Ride
All motorcycles and cars are invited to participate in Crude’s Famous 13th Anniversary Veteran Ride on Wednesday, May 15th 2024. Past rides have seen over 250 participants! Rain or shine, all riders will meet for breakfast at Golden Egg in Surfside Beach starting at 8 a.m., and then head out at 10:30 a.m. on a 75-mile ride south to Gilligan’s Seafood Restaurant in Moncks Corner, SC. The total round trip ride is 150 miles, with gas stops along the way and a final stop and evening event at Garden City Beach Bar in Garden City, SC. Participation in this event is free; no registration is required.

You’re sure to find your libation of choice from the full bar menu.
