Take in a sunrise worship service on Easter Sunday, gather for brunch or attend an Easter egg hunt at one of several locations around the Grand Strand. There are plenty of fun and special events taking place all over the beach.

Easter Sunrise Services around Myrtle Beach

Looking for places to worship on Easter Sunday? Many area churches offer sunrise services on the beach. It’s a unique and moving experience.

Myrtle Beach Easter Sunrise Services

Second Avenue Pier, Myrtle Beach | Grand Strand Baptist Church will hold their annual Easter sunrise service beginning at 6:30 a.m. at the Second Avenue Pier in Myrtle Beach. 

79th Avenue North, Myrtle Beach | Faith Presbyterian Church will host Easter sunrise service on the beach at 79th Avenue North beginning around 6:30 a.m. Bring a chair or folding blanket if you don’t want to stand for the service. 

North Myrtle Beach Easter Sunrise Services

17th Avenue South, North Myrtle Beach | Trinity United Methodist Church will host an Easter sunrise service at 6:30 a.m. on the beach at 17th Avenue South in North Myrtle Beach.

Surfside Beach Easter Sunrise Services

Surfside Beach Pier, Surfside Beach | A sunrise service is planned for 6:30 a.m. on Easter Sunday near the Surfside Beach Pier. Visitors must park in parking lots for the event — no street or sidewalk parking is allowed. Parking enforcement will be delayed until 8:30 a.m. in the Yaupon and North Pinewood parking lots for the event. 

Easter Egg Hunts around Myrtle Beach

Barefoot Bunny Hop: Barefoot Landing in North Myrtle Beach is hosting their Barefoot Bunny Hop from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. March 27. Festivities include Easter egg hunts, Alice in Wonderland dance party, and more! Barefoot Landing is located at 4898 Highway 17 South, North Myrtle Beach. 

Surfside Beach Easter Egg Hunt: The town of Surfside Beach will host an Easter Egg Hunt and Children’s Fair at 1 p.m. April 16 in the Huckabee Complex at 829 N. Pine Drive, Surfside Beach, SC. 

Easter Egg Hunt at McLean Park: The 40th annual Easter Egg Hunt at McLean Park in North Myrtle Beach will begin at 10 a.m. April 16. Egg hunt areas are divided by age from 2 to 11 years old. 

Easter Meals in Myrtle Beach

Hard Rock Cafe | Broadway at the Beach, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577

Hard Rock Cafe at Broadway at the Beach is hosting two family-friendly Easter brunch opportunities. The Be Hoppy event runs from 10 a.m. to noon April 16 and 17 and includes a breakfast buffet, egg hunt, costume contest, and cookie decorating. The cost is $10.95 for children and $16.95 for adults. 

Gulf Stream Cafe | 1536 S. Waccamaw Drive, Garden City Beach, SC 29576

Gulf Stream Cafe will host an Easter Brunch Buffet beginning at 10 a.m. on April 17. Buffet includes shrimp, fried cod, marinated chicken and sides as well as breakfast favorites like eggs, bacon, sausage, and grits. Cost is $23.95 for adults and $11.95 for kids. 

Brentwood Restaurant & Wine Bistro | 4269 Luck Avenue, Little River, SC 29566

The Brentwood Restaurant will be serving a special Easter Dinner on April 17 with indoor and outdoor dining options. The family-style Easter menu includes a Brentwood salad, oven roasted turkey, honey glazed ham, braised lamb shoulder, whipped potatoes with homemade turkey gravy and sauteed spring vegetables with a choice of chocolate fondant or strawberry shortcake for dessert.  An a la carte menu is also available. Cost is $39.95 for adults and $12.95 for kids 10 and under. 

Chestnut Hill | 9922 N Kings Highway, Myrtle Beach, SC 29572

Chestnut Hill in Myrtle Beach is offering a brunch buffet for Easter from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. April 17. The meal includes a carving station with roasted leg of lamb, prime rib and Virginia ham as well as a variety of seafood, chicken, breakfast favorites, sides and dessert. Cost is $39 for adults and $21 for children 4-10. 

Carolina Roadhouse | 4617 North Kings Highway, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577

Carolina Roadhouse is serving special Easter brunch features from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 17 in addition to their regular menu. Brunch features include Chicken and Waffle Sliders, served with thick-cut peppered bacon topped with spicy maple butter, and Crispy Stuffed Banana French Toast, a battered Texas toast stuffed with Nutella, topped with corn flake crust, bananas foster sauce, fresh fruit and whipped cream.
