Comedy Clubs & Shows
Stand-up comedy is funny on television, but being there is a completely different experience. And there aren’t many better ways to relax at night than checking out a few comedians at a Myrtle Beach comedy club — you’ll completely forget the stress of whatever you left back home (jobs, bills…) in no time. Luckily, the area is home to several places to see live comedy, with a pair of comedy clubs bringing in some of the best names in the industry to provide some laughs for vacationers and several shows in Myrtle Beach that feature lots of comedic flair. Sure, you could stay at the hotel and watch Comedy Central, but only so much can be said on cable television. So pick a night, make reservations, and head to enjoy some really funny people in person.
Comedy Cabana
This north-end laugh spot is Myrtle Beach’s oldest and apparently only “five star” comedy club. Headliners over the years have included Lewis Black, Bob Nelson, Josh Blue, and numerous other masters of the genre. And as with any great club, there’s a full menu of appetizers, burgers, wraps, salads, sandwiches, pizza, and more.

The only thing certain about seeing live improvisational comedy is that it will be a completely unique experience since lines are made up on the spot by the actors. Performances take place at Uptown Theater, located inside Myrtle Beach Mall, and are sure to bring laughs to everyone in attendance. The comedy troupe here performs themed shows like “Whose Night Out Is It Anyway,” and “Whose Beach Is It Anyway,” but the content is anyone’s best guess.
