About Alabama Theatre

One of the Grand Strand’s favorite entertainment attractions, Alabama Theatre offers area visitors an evening of singing, dancing, and comedy. Opened by country superstar group Alabama over 20 years ago, Alabama Theatre is a popular attraction bringing visitors from all over to experience the musical variety show. With One The Show, The South’s Grandest Christmas Show, and guest entertainers, Alabama Theatre has something for everyone.

One The Show runs weeknights from February through October, offering a vibrant and uplifting musical variety show. The show features a large cast of talented singers and dancers bringing your favorite numbers from Country, Gospel, Broadway, Pop, Rock, and Broadway to life. The musical numbers are rounded out with a state of the art sound and light system to give the audience the best experience possible. There are plenty of laughs too, with everyone’s favorite cast character Ricky Mokel. All generations get a kick out of this down-home boy’s antics! ONE The Show starts at 7 p.m. with shows six nights per week.

Starting in November and running through the end of December, Alabama Theatre turns into a winter wonderland with The South’s Grandest Christmas Show. The whole cast brings the true spirit of Christmas to light with a combination of classic Christmas songs, contemporary holiday songs, an incredible light and sound show, holiday scenery and more. Ricky Mokel brings his brand of country humor into this show as well creating a well-rounded Christmas extravaganza the whole family will enjoy.

The Alabama Theatre also books top name entertainers throughout the year. On the weekends, stars like Englebert Humperdink, The Oak Ridge Boys, and Three Dog Night to name a few entertain and delight Alabama Theatre’s audience. The theatre accommodates those with sight, hearing, or mobility disabilities, inquire about hearing devices or special seating. Tickets are available for purchase online with special pricing for groups and children. One, the show!

I have been to a lot of their shows over the last nine years that we have lived in Myrtle Beach. This year’s show is one of the best that I have ever seen. Kudos to the cast!!
