Wine lists can vary in length, depth, and diversity, so how do you find a restaurant with the best wine list? We've found these restaurants have knowledgeable staff, extensive and varied wine collections, and have been recognized with awards of excellence for their wine lists.

Offering an extensive selection of wines, Thoroughbreds has held the Wine Spectator Annual Award of Excellence since 2001. Aspen Grille

Your choices are nearly limitless when perusing the wine list at Aspen Grille. With over 150 offerings, you will have no trouble finding your favorite red or white or trying something new and unexpected. Sparkling wines, red and white wines, and champagnes are served by the glass or by the bottle. Join them for “Wine Down Wednesdays” with half price wine by the glass at the bar from 4:30-8:00 pm. Aspen Grille has earned the distinction of Certificate of Excellence 2013 from Trip Advisor for their delicious menu.
Chef Curry North creates divine dishes like Escargot in garlic butter and Seared Yellow Fin Tuna for starters or the Local Pan Seared Flounder and Shrimp or Cedar Springs Domestic Lamb Rack for your dinner. Open for dinner at 4:30 Tuesday-Sunday.

Collector's Cafe

At this bistro, that has won the SC Restauranteur of 2010 as well as the Wine Spectator Award several years in a row, you’ll find a menu and wine list that live up to their reputations. Offering over 120 wines with an array of reds, whites, and “unique blends” to compliment their lunch and dinner menus and desserts. Some wines are offered by the glass, all are available by the bottle. Croissants hosts Coastal Uncorked events and a Spring Wine Tasting and Art Show each year. Ask for a recommendation on the perfect pairing with lunch dishes like Blackened Vegas Strip Salad, HAB Sandwich (ham, apple, and Brie) or the
Quiche du Jour. For dinner try the Carpet Bagger Brie, Watermelon Salad, Hand-cut Southern Rubbed Filet Mignon, or the Vegetarian Selection. A unique establishment, Coastal Wine Boutique and Tasting Room offers an intimate experience for area visitors.
