Sunrise at the Beach
Even in the wintertime, taking in sunrise at the beach is an awesome experience, filled with goregous views of the ocean, dunes, trees and sea oats, as well as encounters with folks walking the beach, dogs, seagulls and other wildlife. Here’s a look at some of the scenery we found along one of the most scenic oceanfront stretches of sand in Myrtle Beach, known as the Cabana District for its abundance of oceanfront cottages and unique dwellings. The area runs from Gardens by the Sea Park in the 5500 block of North Ocean Boulevard (just north of South Wind on the Ocean) and stretches north to near Island Vista Resort at 6000 N. Ocean Blvd.
