Easter Events in Myrtle Beach

Hop in on the fun this Easter at Myrtle Beach. The Grand Strand hosts several Easter-themed events for kids, parents, couples, and friends to enjoy. After the kiddos fill their baskets with treats, parents can join forces at adults-only Easter egg hunts in Myrtle Beach. Don’t forget to snap a picture with the Easter Bunny at one of the egg hunts, festivals, or photo events. 12th Annual Helicopter Easter Egg Drop & Hunt

• When: Saturday, March 29 and April 5, 2025; 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• Where: Thompson Farm at Brickyard Plantation
• What: Join in on the Thompson Farms Helicopter Egg Drop and Hunt excitement. This two-weekend event makes for the perfect family outing with an exciting egg drop from a helicopter, an egg hunt for the kids, activities, and prizes.

Barefoot Bunny Hop

• When: Saturday, April 12, 2025; 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
• Where: Dockside Village at Barefoot Landing
• What: The Barefoot Bunny Hop offers family-friendly fun at one of Myrtle Beach’s most popular shopping and dining destinations, Barefoot Landing. The Bunny Hop will feature Chick-or-Treat stations at participating stores, kids’ activities, and a meet and greet with the Easter Bunny.

• Where: Between Tupelo Honey and Dolce Lusso Salon at The Market Common
• What: Snap a photo of your child or the entire family with the Easter Bunny at The Market Common. This Myrtle Beach Easter-themed event will also feature complimentary face painting for all ages.

Surfside Beach Easter Egg Hunt & Children’s Fair

• When: Saturday, April 12, 2025; 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
• Where: Huckabee Field at the Surfside Recreational Complex
• What: Join the Surfside Beach Easter Egg Hunt & Children’s fair at Huckabee Park on Saturday, April 12th for an afternoon of family-friendly fun. This Easter egg hunt in Myrtle Beach will also feature a petting zoo, bounce houses, and rides.

Myrtle Beach Easter Egg Plunge

• Where: Mary C. Canty Recreation Center Pool
• What: The Myrtle Beach Easter Egg Plunge is an annual event for pre-registered kids between ages three and 12. Kids cool off and collect goodies by dunking below the water’s surface for Easter eggs scattered at the bottom of the pool. There will also be arts and crafts, kid-friendly games, and presentations of first responder vehicles.

Adult Easter Egg Hunt

• Where: Thompson Farm at Brickyard Plantation
• What: Join Thompson Farm for an adults-only Easter egg hunt in Myrtle Beach. Teams of four to six adults come together to find eggs in an escape room-style challenge. Included in the cost of admission is a catered dinner from Jeremiah’s Lunch Box, a bunny ear headband, extra activities, and cash prizes. All adults must be 21 or older to attend.

18th Annual Race for the Inlet Bunny Run

• When: Saturday, April 19, 2025; 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.
• Where: Morse Park in Murrells Inlet
• What: The Race for the Inlet Bunny Run is a family-friendly 5K that invites locals and visitors to kick off Easter weekend with a healthy activity and time with the community. Participants will receive a chipped bib, a goody bag for the first 250 registered participants, an official race T-shirt, and breakfast from Campbell Catering Company. There will be an awards ceremony following this fun run.
• Price: $35 per participant
• Parking: Parking will be available at the nearby restaurants that are closed for the event.

43rd Annual North Myrtle Beach Easter Egg Hunt

• When: Saturday, April 19, 2025; 10 a.m.
• Where: McLean Park in North Myrtle Beach
• What: Parents and children are welcome to join the Easter festivities at the 43rd Annual North Myrtle Beach Easter Egg Hunt. This family-friendly event separates children by age so all participants have a chance to leave with goodies. Plan to snap a picture with the Easter Bunny before you leave McLean Park with your basket of treats.

Myrtle Beach Easter Sunrise Services

Myrtle Beach hosts several gorgeous Easter sunrise services for locals and visitors alike. All are welcome to join these congregations on the Grand Strand to watch the sunrise while celebrating this sacred holiday. A variety of Myrtle Beach churches will come together at Plyler Park at 6:45 a.m. to worship as one community. Join Christ United Methodist Church for worship and a continental breakfast near Bummz Beach Cafe. Other churches will meet individually at public beach access points along the shoreline.
