The Breakers Resort has already updated its registration building and waterpark, and has given its exterior a refresh, but the recent updates to the Sailfish and Paradise Towers still in progress this year will make this hotel feel brand new. Beyond the new elevator cabs and landings and refreshed hallways, the guest rooms were also entirely refreshed. Enjoy new furnishings, a more functional pull-out sofa, updated artwork, lighting, bathroom improvements, and more. The new design’s calming color palette brings a coastal feel right to the inside of the resort.
Grande Cayman Resort Myrtle Beach

This is one of the new hotels in Myrtle Beach to debut after 2020. Formerly Long Bay Resort, this oceanfront paradise underwent a major renovation and rebranding. The guest rooms were completely updated with new paint, accents, molding, lighting, seating—you name it. The exterior’s signature coral and tropical shades and new sign welcome guests in. On-site restaurants have also been refreshed, and the existing Turtle Bay Cafe has been expanded and features a new bar layout.
North Shore Oceanfront Hotel

Formerly known as Ocean Dunes Resort, this boutique hotel is one of the newest rebrands in Myrtle Beach. The extensive renovations made this resort brand new, starting with a state-of-the-art guest lobby and front desk, better amenities, and major upgrades to the property, including a new mini golf course and arcade in the Family FunZone. Hotel rooms received updates as well, and guests can now enjoy more perks, such as high-speed Wi-Fi, private balconies, and in-room coffee makers.
Dayton House Resort Myrtle Beach

The Dayton House has been making steady improvements to every guest tower and room over the past several years. Its most recent updates include new elevators in the North and South Towers, refreshed exteriors with new paint, and balcony updates. It took years of upgrades but the Landmark Resort has the newest hotel waterpark in Myrtle Beach, and guests love it. What started with outdoor pool renovations in 2016 has wrapped up with a $3 million waterpark, which recently opened. The massive overhaul added an outdoor observation deck overlooking the lazy river, an updated indoor pool complex, and finally, all-new oceanfront water amenities, including a totally reimagined outdoor waterpark.
