- Children’s Activity Days: In these events set for August 4th to 6th at Brookgreen Gardens, children will learn about animals around the world through educational stations and make-and-take crafts. The events are free with garden admission.

- Great American Summer Nights: This longtime festival at Broadway at the Beach includes stilt walkers, live music, character appearances, and other family-friendly entertainment throughout the month of August. Final dates are yet to be determined.

- Craftsman Classic Craft Show: This is one of the top craft shows in the country and highlights original works from hundreds of artists and craftspeople. This event is held at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center on August 4th to the 6th.

- World Am Golf Tournament: This tournament kicks off on August 28th in Myrtle Beach, and is one of the largest, most enjoyable golf events to hit the Grand Strand. Thousands of players flock to the area to compete on more than 50 of the best golf courses in Myrtle Beach.
