About Paula Deen’s Family Kitchen

Get your home-cooked food fix at Paula Deen’s Family Restaurant at Broadway at the Beach in Myrtle Beach. There’s no individual portions here; in true Southern tradition, all meals are served in a family style spread for breakfast, lunch and dinner with plenty of classic southern recipes and meals to choose from. And be on the lookout, Paula Deen may stop by for a meal!

For a Southern Style Breakfast, you can choose three Down Home Dishes for the table, like Chicken And Waffles, Bananas Fosters French Toast and Ooey Gooey Butter Pancakes. You also choose one Breakfast Meat, like Country Ham and Sausage Patties. And choose two Breakfast Treats for your table, which includes Country Fried Potatoes, Fried Grits and Biscuits And Sausage Gravy.

Choose two Down Home Dishes for a Southern Style Lunch, including Best Ever Southern Fried Chicken, Pepper Steak and Chicken Pot Pie. You also get to select four of Paula’s Famous Sides, like Cole Slaw, Porky Beans and Buttered White Rice. And for dessert, everyone gets to choose from a selection of Banana Pudding, Ooey Gooey Butter Cake and Seasonal Cobbler.

The dinner menu is nearly identical to the lunch menu, except instead of two Down Home Dishes, your table selects three dishes. And everyone gets dessert!

  • Family Oriented

Ate here today and it was a great family experience. I was with 4 other family members and all agreed the service was friendly and efficient. Food was just comfort all the way. The biscuit and fried green tomatoes the best I’ve ever had. Will go again for sure.

  • Food is not very southern and not very good

The place is beautiful but the food was not very good. I grew up eating real southern food and sorry but this isn't it. I will say the biscuits were outstanding but it was downhill from there. The chicken and dumplings were the worst I have ever eaten. I have had canned ones that were better. The Mac and cheese was very dry and not cheesy. The creamed corn was ok but I like any creamed corn. The green beans were plain. The fried chicken skin was tasty but the meat had a strange flavor to it. The collards were not southern but not terrible. The waiter was very nice and the restaurant was beautiful but the food was the worst we've had in Myrtle Beach.
