Description
About O’Keefe’s Irish Pub

Aside from stews and potato preparations, Ireland has never really been known for their cuisine.

But they have managed to make some of the best alcohol in the world, inventing a little something called whiskey, and contributing several heavy stouts to the world’s beer list.

So it’s no surprise that most Irish pubs in The States serve a combination of loosely-Irish dishes alongside traditional American bar food.

Okeef’s is no exception. But really, unless it’s St. Patrick’s Day, who goes to an Irish pub solely for the food anyway?

O’Keefe’s Irish Pub Food

For starters (or for something to nibble on throughout your session), options include things like Nachos, rum-marinated Drunken Mushrooms, Pizza Fries, Wings (available in honey mustard, mild, Caribbean jerk, medium, honey bbq, hot, nuclear, teriyaki, garlic butter, sweet & sour, Old Bay, and chipotle).

In addition to non-Irish soups like Chili and French Onion, a tradition Irish Stew is offered by cup or bowl, complete with beef, carrot, onion, potato, and Guinness gravy. Baskets include Fried Shrimp, Chicken Tenders, and Fish & Chips, each served with waffle fries and coleslaw.

The Burger and Sandwich menu offers with a Build Your Own Burger, along with Corned Beef, Pastrami, Chicken Philly, Chicken Breast, Reuben, Pulled Pork, French Dip, and other standard pub sandwiches.

The list of Classics includes a small handful of actual Irish (and Irish-American) favorites like Corned Beef and Cabbage, Shepard’s Pie, Bangers and Tators, and what has to be the most unique thing on the menu – A 7-course Irish Dinner, consisting of six domestic beers and one boiled potato.

O’Keefe’s Irish Pub Atmosphere

“Come as a Stranger, Leave as a Friend,” is the motto written on the wall above the bottles behind the bar. And that sums up the atmosphere – locals, regulars, and visitors having a drink, maybe playing a game of pool or darts, watching the game, or listening to live music together.

The interior walls are appropriately green, inviting guest’s to celebrate the spirit of Ireland year-round in the company of other like-minded souls.
