Traditional Irish pub meets South Carolina Lowcountry at this long-standing bar across from Arcadian Shores Golf Club. This Irish-themed eatery draws a big crowd from the golf course as well as tourists from the nearby hotels. Finn McCool’s holds one of the best St. Patrick’s Day parties on the Grand Strand.

Irish cusine and Lowcountry fare share top billing on the menu. There are plenty of Irish options, like the Loaded Shamrocks (jalapeno poppers), Four Leaf Clover Dinner (corned beef and cabbage) and the O’Farrell’s Special (fish and chips). But there’s also a nice selection of seafood, including Lynch’s Fresh Catch, the Shamrock Grilled Tuna and the Chef McCool’s Shrimp Pasta. Of course, there’s plenty to wash it all down at the full bar, including a wide range of coffees, draft beers and pitchers of specialty drinks, like the Finn McCool’s Breeze and the Electric Lemonade, perfect for chilling out on the patio deck.

There’s always a party going on at Finn McCool’s, especially in the bar area that serves as the centerpiece of the building. Wooden tables and chairs make up the surrounding dining room and a well manicured and landscaped patio deck with a nice view attracts a fun crowd, particularly during happy hour.
