Crown Reef Resort in Myrtle Beach will complete one of the largest resort renovations in the area. In addition to remodeling all of their 514 rooms, they’ll also add new amenities for guests.

Room remodels will include new furnishings from the headboards to the bedding and lamps. The kitchens in suites and efficiencies will see new applicances, granite countertops and modern cabinetry. All units at Crown Reef Resort feature an oceanfront balcony and flat screen televisions. The remodeling project will be completed by April 2014.

Other updates at the resort include a brand new Town Center with a restaurant, coffee bar, ice cream and sweets shop and a video game center. They’ll also offer a new water park with two 40-foot water slides, a silly sub play area and a new pool bar and grill. The water slides will be the largest resort slides on the Grand Strand and are set to open by July 4, 2014. Currently Crown Reef features an oceanfront pool, two indoor pools, indoor and outdoor Jacuzzis and the longest lazy river in Myrtle Beach.
