Description
About Litchfield Country Club

Litchfield Country Club was among the initial eight golf courses built on the Grand Strand, and was the first course in the Pawleys Island/Litchfield area. The mature tree-lined fairways wind amid the giant oaks and shimmering lakes of a former Carolina rice plantation, creating an extraordinarily challenging country club experience. Open for play in 1966, this golf course has maintained its original features, including player-friendly greens-side pathways for bump-and-run approach shots. Tight fairways and sharp doglegs are part of the classic “old style” of Litchfield Country Club, as reflected in the 18th hole featured in the book, The 100 Greatest Holes along the Grand Strand. The gracious charms of the semi-private Litchfield Country Club signature course are enjoyed by an unlimited number of golfers visiting the Myrtle Beach area.
