Volunteers Needed for MyrtleBeach.com Marathon Events

The MyrtleBeach.com Myrtle Beach Marathon is in need of volunteers and medical volunteers for the weekend events on February 13-15, 2014.

More than 1,000 volunteers are needed to help with race registration, handing out shirts, food and water stations and at the finish line.

There are 12 first aid stations along the race course and at the finish line that require medical volunteers. Marathon coordinators are asking for physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, nurses, EMTs, Paramedics, respiratory therapists and massage therapists to volunteer.

Each volunteer will receive a free t-shirt and free entrance including food and beverage to one of the two after parties planned during the weekend.
