Helicopter Adventures to offer tours from Broadway at the Beach in Myrtle Beach
Broadway at the Beach visitors will be in for a special treat this summer. Helicopter flights will lift off from the shopping and entertainment complex beginning in May.
The flights, offered by Helicopter Adventures, will be the first in the nation from a shopping and dining complex, said Freddie Rick, president and CEO of Helicopter Adventures. “We’re very excited about bringing Helicopter Adventures to Broadway at the Beach,” said Rick. “Our attraction will add a new dimension to Broadway at its reputation for being innovative, unique and just plain fun.”
The company will have free shuttles running from Broadway at the Beach to their helipads across the street behind NASCAR Speedpark. Tour packages start at $20 per person for a tour over Broadway at the Beach. Other tour packages offered include rides up to the North Carolina border, rides out to the Atlantic Ocean and custom tours.
Helicopter Adventures will offer rides beginning May 25, 2012. Tickets are available at the north and south ends of Broadway at the Beach as well as from the launch site at 1860 21st Avenue North in Myrtle Beach. For more information, call 1-800-FLY-4FUN.
