February is the month of love, and what better way to celebrate than visiting Myrtle Beach? Every month is a great time to visit the Grand Strand, but the Myrtle Beach weather in February proves to be quite welcoming to snowbirds trying to escape harsh winter climates.

The average air temperature in Myrtle Beach in February is around 60ºF, which is quite nice compared to the average temperatures in other parts of the world. The temperate Myrtle Beach weather in February is great for some outdoor activities such as walks on the beach or visits to Brookgreen Gardens, as long as you don’t mind bundling up a little. However, you won’t find yourself taking a dip in the ocean during this month, as the average water temperature is only 51ºF. Luckily, though, many hotel properties boast indoor heated pools for your convenience.

February is an “R” month so that means you can enjoy delicious fresh oysters along the Grand Strand! In fact, many places have oysters roasts to celebrate! There are also several Valentine’s Day celebrations as well as other fun events like the annual Broadway at the Beach KidzTime Festival, the Conway Chocolate Walk, and much more!
