Mulligan’s Lagoon

Mulligan’s Lagoon is one of the newer additions to the South Strand, opening in fall 2024 on Highway 17 South in Surfside Beach. It replaced the longtime Adventure Falls Golf location and quickly earned a reputation as the best overall mini golf experience on the South Strand.

There are two courses totaling 36 holes, including one designed to be more accessible, and an arcade with over 50 games featuring titles like Wizard of Oz, Jurassic Park, Fast & Furious, and Halo. The setup is modern too, with a card system where you load credits and scan to get your ball from a dispenser rather than the usual counter setup. There’s also a pizza parlor on site, so you can grab a bite after your round without having to leave.

The courses hit a sweet spot of being challenging without being frustrating, which is exactly what you want when you’ve got a mix of ages in your group. The course was developed by the Professor Hacker’s group, who have been in the amusement business for over 30 years, so there’s real experience behind how the place is put together.
