About 31st Annual Turtle Strut

Run or walk or stand and cheer on the competitors at the 31st annual Turtle Strut! For more than 30 years this race has taken place and is a great event and way to support the family justice center.

This race is held in honor and memory of Guy Osborne in support of the Family Justice Center.

Guests can choose to register for the Turtle Strut 5k or 8k. This course is a very flat, yet scenic course. This beautiful course will take competitors from their start at the Pawleys Island Nature Park and head south on Myrtle Avenue alongside Pawleys Island Creek.

5k runners will turn around at the Bird’s Nest area of the island while 8k runners will continue running down Springs Avenue and enjoy a beautiful, scenic ocean view. 8k runners will turn around at the far south end beach. Both races will start at the Pawleys Island Nature Park and finish at the Nature Park.

The Pawleys Pavilion Park is located at 323 Myrtle Avenue in Pawleys Island. Participants can register online for a fee of $50. For more information or questions please call (843)-237-1698.
