Broadway at the Beach
There is tons of Cinco De Mayo fun going on this Saturday, May 5 at Broadway at the Beach!
Start off the day with the Senor Frog’s 5K race that begins at 8:30 a.m. The route of the race loops around Broadway at the Beach. Participants can pick up a packet beginning at 7 a.m. After the race, Senor Frog’s will host a complimentary breakfast as well as live music.
There will be live music from Julio & the Saltines on The Avenue from 1 p.m. – 7 p.m. This event is sponsored by Hard Rock Cafe, Malibu’s Surf Bar, Senor Frog’s, American Tap House, Crocodile Rocks, Fat Tuesday, Broadway Louie’s, Wahlburgers, Carolina Comedy Club, Original Shucker’s Raw Bar, Dave & Buster’s, Good Time Charley’s, and Oz the Experience.
At 7 p.m., make your way to Oz and Malibu’s for more live music, DJs, and drink specials!
Abuelo’s promises the Flavor of Mexico on their everyday menu, and they’re pairing those flavors with some sweet drink specials for Cinco de Mayo. The restaurant will have all day drink specials on Saturday, May 5 with $5 draft beer and $6.95 margaritas!

Fiesta Mexicana will host their annual Cinco De Mayo Festival on Saturday, May 5. They will be offering food and drink specials
The Brass Tap
Join The Brass Tap for an unforgettable Cinco de Mayo event on Saturday, May 5. They will have Modelo and Negro Modelo on draft, as well as Corona, $4 margaritas, $4 tequila shots, and $3 Fireball! They will also have karaoke from 8-11 p.m.
Since there is no Burro Fest this year, be sure to head over to La Casona in Myrtle Beach for the ultimate Cinco de Mayo Party! They’re partnering up with Potent Empire to throw an awesome event with live music, food, and drink specials. There will be music by Nicky Nice & Anthony Jack Pagan “ARCADE.” The party will take place from 12-9:30 p.m. You must be 18 to party and 21 to drink. There will be no cover charge. The restaurant is offering $4 margaritas, $2 tequila shots, $2.50 domestic beers, $3 tequila sunrise. There will also be free shuttles for CCU students from 1-4 p.m.
Make your way to Hickory Tavern on Saturday, May 5 for a Cinco de Mayo celebration. This free event will feature Latin dance lessons from Aroha Arts Collective as well as tons of Sala, Bachtata, Merengue, and Kizomba from DJ Tono from Columbia, SC. This dance lessons will take place from 10-11 p.m. and the party starts after.
Carolina Ale House
Party all day on Cinco de Mayo at Coastal Ale House in Myrtle Beach. The party will take place from 11 a.m. until 12 a.m. outside on the patio. They will be offering $10 CoronaRitas, $4 Corona Light Drafts, $5 Paton Shorty Shots, and Corona/Corona Light Buckets for $15. There will be food specials available as well.
