About Founders Club
One of the newest golf courses on the Grand Strand is also one of the best at the Founders Club at Pawleys Island, where the South Carolina Lowcountry’s natural beauty and creative golf design come together to form one unique golf experience. created by Thomas Walker, former lead designer for Gary Player Design, amid the salt marshes and maritime forests of Pawleys Island, the Founders Club features 18 masterfully constructed holes that are both visually stunning and give the illusion that the layout is more difficult than it really plays. But don’t think you’re not in for a challenge. This course has quickly become a “must play” among the many courses on the Strand.
