If you love camping, then you’ve probably seen our list of campgrounds in Myrtle Beach. And while all the campgrounds have great amenities, such as oceanfront pools and easy access to the ocean, which are great for the spring and summer, these same campgrounds are also wonderful for fall & winter vacations to Myrtle Beach.

Compared to most other states, the weather in Myrtle Beach during the fall & winter months is pretty great. In fact, during part of the fall you will still find people going for a swim in the ocean!  Here are the average air and water temperatures for September – March:

 Campers at PirateLand Myrtle Beach will enjoy 180 acres of oceanfront property with campsites and vacation rentals. Whether you intend to set up camp, park an RV, or rent a cabin/vacation home, PirateLand has you covered. All campsites are complete with water, sewer, electric, and cable hook ups. However, campers are asked to bring their own cords and connections hoses.

 PirateLand is currently running some specials for the fall and winter. The Fall and Winter Weekly Rate allows guests to stay for 6 nights and get the 7th night free! This is applicable on stays from September 4 – March 20, 2018.  Other specials include the Halloween Spooktacular (2 nights for $75) and the Thanksgiving Special (4 nights for $99). Contact the campground for more information and any restrictions on these deals.

 During any time of the year at PirateLand you can have a portable fire pit as long as it is at the minimum 6 feet above the ground and has a screen, chimney, or cover. Guets may only burn charcoal, starter logs, or duralogs. The campground also offers Winterizing Service for $75 for those who are storing their trailers.
