New Attractions Coming to Myrtle Beach in 2026



Myrtle Beach continues to be a top destination for both locals and tourists alike, and 2026 is shaping up to be an exciting year for new attractions and dining experiences. Whether you’re a foodie, thrill-seeker, or someone looking for a family-friendly experience, this year promises to offer something for everyone. Let’s dive into some of the most anticipated openings coming to the area in 2026!

RMC Raptor Coaster at Family Kingdom

Opening: 2026 Season
Location: Family Kingdom Amusement Park, 300 4th Ave S, Myrtle Beach, SC

Family Kingdom Amusement Park is bringing its biggest addition to the park since the iconic Swamp Fox coaster opened in 1966. The new RMC Raptor model coaster (which doesn’t yet have an official name) is set to open for the 2026 season and is one of the most anticipated new attractions in all of Myrtle Beach. The coaster will stand 100ft tall, making it 28ft taller than the Swamp Fox, and will reach speeds of up to 50 mph. It will replace the park’s Figure 8 Track.

Downtown Flavortown

Opening: Early 2026
Location: Myrtle Beach Mall, 10177 N Kings Hwy, Myrtle Beach, SC

A new 50,000 square foot mega-restaurant and entertainment hotspot is coming to Myrtle Beach in 2026, courtesy of Food Network star, Guy Fieri. Downtown Flavortown is set to open early in the year at the former JC Penney at Myrtle Beach Mall. It will feature food, a bowling alley, arcade games, a tiki bar, and more. Yee-Haw Brewing & Old Smoky Distillery

Opening: Spring 2026
Location: Broadway at the Beach, 1216 Celebrity Circle, Myrtle Beach, SC

Broadway at the Beach will soon be home to a new combination of craft brews and spirits. Yee-Haw Brewing and Old Smoky Distillery are teaming up to bring a venue that will offer a range of beers, cocktails, food, and live entertainment. This will mark the first time the two brands, both of which started in Tennessee, will venture into a joint location outside of TN.

Big Fish

Opening: 2026
Location: Broadway at the Beach

Another exciting dining spot coming to Broadway at the Beach is Big Fish. The anticipated seafood restaurant will take the place of the Liberty Brewery & Grill that closed in 2020. Outdoor seating and a large deck are being added to the restaurant. It is still unknown when in 2026 Big Fish is expected to open.

The PicklePort

Opening: 3rd Quarter 2026
Location: Harrelson Blvd, Myrtle Beach, SC

Pickleball enthusiasts are in for a huge treat in 2026. The PicklePort is a state-of-the-art indoor and outdoor pickleball facility that is set to open between July and September. The complex will feature 12 climate-controlled indoor courts, 4 covered outdoor courts, a championship court, a pro shop, a snack bar, and a social area for players and spectators. League play will be available.

South Coast Beer Project

Opening: Spring 2026
Location: 5020 Carolina Forest Blvd, Myrtle Beach, SC

Carolina Forest residents can expect a new brewery by spring of 2026. South Coast Beer Project is coming to Myrtle Beach and will bring with it a wide selection of craft beers and a 10,000 square foot venue. You can look forward to plenty of outdoor seating, events, and community activities throughout the year.

357 Brewers

Opening: Spring 2026
Location: 8201 Marina Pkwy, Myrtle Beach, SC

Another brewery set to cut the ribbon this upcoming spring is 357 Brewers. The brewery is coming to the Grande Dunes area and will overlook the Intracoastal Waterway. It will feature an indoor and outdoor bar with panoramic views of the waterway, a coastal-inspired kitchen, a waterfront stage hosting live music acts, a retail shop, a kids’ play zone, a sunset deck, a marina, and more.
