March means spring, and do you know what that means in Myrtle Beach? Spring Break and beautiful weather! The Myrtle Beach weather in March is nearly perfect and brings in tons of vacationers from all over the world. It is the start of spring, so naturally people are ready to break out of their winter shells and get to the beach to bask in the sun.

The weather in March brings average air temperatures of 68ºF and even warmer on some days, creating the perfect atmosphere for days out on the beach or outdoor events. The average water temperature in March is still only around 56ºF, so you won’t see many people swimming, but you may see some surfers braving the frigid water while wearing wetsuits.

The Myrtle Beach weather in March offers great conditions for the start of the spring golf season as well as many other great outdoor activities. The Myrtle Beach Marathon is held in the beginning of March and attracts thousands of runners from all over.
