Adrenaline Adventure brings new zipline courses to Myrtle Beach area
Adrenaline Adventures is bringing two new zipline courses to the Myrtle Beach area just in time for summer 2012.
The Myrtle Beach Adventure Zipline, located near the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk, will feature a six-track zipline that sends riders soaring nearly 600 feet between two towers at speeds up to 40 mph. Also offered: a heart-stopping 60-foot freefall.
The Myrtle Beach zipline is at the former Pavilion site on Ninth Avenue North, and tickets are $25/ride.
Oceanview Adventures, the group's southern course, is on Springmaid Boulevard just by the Springmaid Beach Resort.
Riders on the oceanview course can enjoy the view while sailing down one of four ziplines or skip the scenery and go straight for the 40-foot Powerfan Free-Fall Express jump.
Tickets for the oceanview zipline are also $25/ride. Free-fall jumps at both locations are also $25.
Crews are still working on the Myrtle Beach Adventure as of April 2. We'll update you when we hear about opening dates.
