About Alabama Theatre – ONE The Show
For 2020, the Alabama Theatre is celebrating its 27th year with an all new revamped production of ONE The Show! This spectacular show has been voted again the #1 Live Entertainment Theatre by Myrtle Beach locals and visitors as well as nominated for the Country Music Association Venue of the Year.
Produced out of Nashville, ONE The Show combines extraordinary talent, iconic production numbers, fantastic visual elements, and extravagant costuming with hit songs from a variety of musical genres. This year’s new production features stylings from Las Vegas and NYC combined into one special extravaganza. Married couple, Jason and Christine Cox, will perform one of America’s greatest tunes; The Lady is a Tramp. Audiences will be entertained with popular numbers from Disney’s The Lion King, The Greatest Showman, The Beauty and the Beast, and newly added Aladdin!
Celebrate the decades with an assortment of new songs like, Sheena Easton’s Morning Train, Lady Gaga’s Born this Way, and Taylor Swift’s Me. Another new production number uses the latest in video and lights to celebrate one of the most playful eras of American music: DISCO! As always, the charm of emcee and featured vocalist Greg Rowles will make audiences feel at home while crowd favorite Grant Turner, one of the funniest comedians in the country, returns as Ricky Mokel with new jokes and antics to entertain and delight everyone.
If you want an evening filled with song, dance and laughter, the Alabama Theatre is the place you want to visit while on vacation with your family and friends! The memory will last a lifetime.
