Beach RC & Hobbies in Myrtle Beach offers one-stop shopping and fun for R/C enthusiasts. 

Beach Hobbies offers an extensive selection of vehicles, parts and accessories as well as an indoor dirt off-road race track in their 15,000 square foot facility. 

Visitors can browse for R/C vehicles, drones, planes and accessories or test their skills with their own vehicle on the indoor track. Rental vehicles are also available. 

Beach RC & Hobbies also features a full-service repair and maintenance shop where their helpful staff can fix your ride or build and customize a kit just for you.

If you can’t make it to the beach to shop in person, Beach RC has a huge online store with many popular kits, including bashers, ovals, drag racing, off-road, and boats. R/C racers will find engines, tires, racing oil and more to keep their vehicles running smoothly. Apparel, including hats, shirts and hoodies, can also be found online and in-store.

Beach RC & Hobbies hosts events throughout the year for racers to put their skills to the test against other competitors. Popular events include: 

Palmetto Classic | Celebrating its 8th year in March 2022, the Palmetto Classic is an annual event that draws many racers and fans to Myrtle Beach. Racers get practice in on Friday night and then racing kicks off Saturday morning. Classes include a Novice category for kids and new racers. 

Wednesday Night Heat Nights | On select Wednesday nights, racers can compete in one of several events, including Modified 2wd Buggy, Stock 2wd Buggy, 2wd SCT, Modified Stadium Truck, 13.5 4wd Buggy, Modified 4wd Buggy, and Stock 2wd Slash. Practice starts at 5 p.m. and races start at 7 p.m. for Wednesday Night Heat Nights.

Beach Buggy Bash | This one-day event in September is a trophy race featuring the 1/10 buggy. Doors open at 10 a.m. and racing begins around noon. 

Dixie Nationals Dirt Oval Extraordinar | This 4-day annual event takes place in October. 

Masters of Dirt Indoor Dirt Off-Road Championship | Celebrating 7 years in 2021, this annual event is one of the most fun 1/10 races of the year. It takes place near the end of October.
