Soup fans got their fill of tasty creations Sunday at the annual Souper Supper event at The Market Common. 

And the winners are … 

Winners for People's Choice:

  • First Place: Academy for Technology and Academics for Low Country Alligator Chowder.
  • Second Place: HGTC International Culinary Institute of Myrtle Beach Class #1 for Brandy Scented Peach Bisque.
  • Third Place: Greg Norman's Australian Grille for Chicken Chorizo Corn Chowder.
  • Fourth Place: Springmaid Beach Resort for Raspberry Nutella with White Chocolate.
  • Fifth Place: Valentino's II for Cream of Mushroom.

Winners for Judges' Choice:

  • First Place: WaterScapes at Marina Inn at Grande Dunes for Truffle Cauliflower Bisque.
  • Second Place: The Grumpy Monk for Smoked Chicken Vegetable.
  • Third Place: Scatori's Pizzeria & Italian Restaurant for Tuscan Chicken and Dumplings.
  • Fourth Place: Johnny D's Waffles and Bakery for Sweet Potato Soup with Maple Bacon Nut Cluster.
  • Fifth Place: Lil Tokyo for Miso Soup.

Overall Winner

Bliss Restaurant and Lounge for Green Chili Chicken Soup.

In its 20th year, the Souper Supper raises funds for the American Culinary Federation, providing scholarships for culinary students at Horry Georgetown Technical College and the Academy for Technology and Academics.
