Sole Italian Food
Open for lunch and dinner, Italian classics highlight Sole’s diverse menu from start to finish. Hot, fresh bread dipped in pesto greets every table, but try not to fill up on the free stuff and save room for some good stuff. The salads are fresh and appetizers, like the fried calamari and bruschetta, are great ways to start your meal.
Entrees include all the Italian favorites, such as lasagna, linguini and clam sauce, manicotti and veal parm, are popular items. House specials include the Sinatra chicken and the clams in wine and garlic sauce.
There is a limited amount of seafood on the menu, but the shrimp scampi and salmon are outstanding. The mouth watering linguini malafemina is one of Sole’s most popular dishes. This delicious dish is served with shrimp, scallops, clams, muscles and fish, with a white wine and garlic sauce or a red spicy fried Diablo.
All the sauces and pastas are made on site, and so is the cheesecake … if you can still find room for dessert.
Sole Italian Atmosphere
The restaurant isn’t filled with fancy or over the top decor, but then again, some of the best Italian food can be found in less-than-fancy confines.
The quaint dining area and friendly service make guests feel comfortable and welcome. The interior is classic family Italian restaurant where the emphasis is on the food, not the mood.
I am so glad we chose this venue for Dinner. The outside of the venue does the inside and service no justice. It is wonderful. The atmosphere in the evening was beautiful with live music in an intimate setting. The owners were very personable. They shared stories from their humble beginnings and we laughed endlessly. The food was delicious. Whenever in Myrtle Beach this is a definite stop.
My daughter and I, visiting Myrtle Beach for the first time. I wanted seafood, she doesn't. It was a wonderful choice, the Seafood Medley in the Garlic white wine sauce was very tasty and fresh fish! The waitstaff is very friendly. We had a nice time.
My wife and I and relatives have dined there on several occasions, for just regular dining and special events, and have found the staff and owners very family oriented. The food was individually prepared, never frozen and thawed, and served in a timely manner. The experience was never rushed, and the atmosphere is very warm and friendly.
