About Quigley’s Pint and Plate
Co-owner Josh Quigley is a longtime brewmaster and partner Michael Benson is the man on the restaurant side of this brew pub/eatery in Pawleys Island. Tucked away in the Mingo Shopping Center, Quigley’s is one of the island’s best-kept secrets. The beer is good, fresh, cold and inexpensive and the food is far beyond what one might expect from microbrewery. Many golfers from area courses make this their 19th hole.
Quigley’s Food
The “Plate” may get second billing to the “Pint”, but Quigley’s food stands on its own. Lunch features a wide range of soups, salads and sandwiches, such as the Blackened Mahi or Prime Rib sandwiches. Dinner offers a mix of surf and turf options, including wood-fired steaks and fresh-catch seafood selections. From chicken and waffles to shrimp and grits, Quigley’s delivers a diverse lineup of comfort food – and even more comforting beverages. Happy Hour is when Quigley’s really shines, with discounted appetizers and handcrafted lagers, ales and specialty beers, like the Unfiltered Peach. Be sure to check the chalkboard for the daily food and brew specials.
Quigley’s Atmosphere
Quigley’s manages to pull off an authentic Irish-pub feel with a Lowcountry twist. A friendly staff and laid-back environment help make Quigley’s a popular spot for golfers from the many local courses, but it has also become a bit of a locals’ hangout for the great happy hour specials. Relax on the waterfront patio deck and grab a to-go growler of your favorite brew.
