Captain Benjamin’s Food
Good food and lots of it; that’s what keeps them coming back for more at Captain Benjamin’s. Featuring more than 200 items, the restaurant offers a wide variety of menu options from the land and sea. Start out with a cup of clam chowder, or dig right in to the Alaskan snow crab legs. There’s no right way to enjoy the expansive buffet! You’ll find the authentic Calabash-style seafood (lightly breaded and fried) on the Calabash bar and plenty of other seafood options like mussels, tilapia, shrimp scampi, and stuffed crab on the seafood buffet. Land food lovers can choose from teriyaki chicken, fried chicken, rib-eye steak and more! Sides include sweet potatoes, baked potatoes, hush puppies, a variety of veggies and more. Save room for a trip to the dessert bar at the end of your meal.

Weekend at Myrtle Beach
This place has been one of the nicest buffets I've ever been to. The food, the servers and the restaurant itself are all fantastic. The food was kept stocked (even the crab legs), and the desserts were over the top. You might pay a few bucks more but in my opinion it's well worth it. You can find a $5 off coupon in the discount books available everywhere. My family and I highly recommend this restaurant.

GREAT CARRY OUT
Did CARRY-OUT from the Original Calabash and it was a GREAT experience. I checked the other Calabash restaurants for carry out. They all gave you one large box to fill and a smaller one for "dessert" for the SAME price as if you went in and had ALL you can eat.. WELL, The Original Benjamins gives you THREE Large Boxes - one at a time - to fill AND a small one for "Dessert" or whatever. They also give you a small container of Hushpoopies that are to die for as well as coctail sauce, honey butter, terter sauce, etc. Their Price is the same as if you did the buffet. Great deal. SO for CARRY-OUR do the Original Benjamin's - you get your money's worth. AND on top of that the ladies are FANTASTIC at the register. Couldn't ask for a friendlier reception. Oh yes, very conscious of Social DIstancing and cleanliness and COVID.
