Old Chicago Pizza and Taproom

Old Chicago Pizza + Taproom creates an inviting dining experience where beer and pizza are BFFs. The Myrtle Beach-area location is in Garden City Beach. 

Old Chicago is a family-friendly bar and restaurant with an extensive menu that expands way beyond pizza. There are TVs throughout for the sports fan to catch their favorite team. 

Start your meal with an appetizer like Buffalo Chicken Rolls, Bavarian Pretzel Sticks, or Twisted (chicken) Tenders with a choice of three sauces. Hand-tossed wings come bone-in or boneless with a variety of sauces or dry rubs and are served with celery sticks and house-made ranch or bleu cheese dressing. 

Pizza options are plentiful from the traditional Chicago 7 with pepperoni, Italian sausage, red onion, black olives, green peppers and mushroms, to the more adventurous Thai Pie with a sweet chili base topped with cheeses, roasted chicken, mushrooms, red peppers, and broccoli and finished with sesame seeds, green onions, and teriyaki sauce. Of course, you can always build your own with your choice of meat and veggies.

In 2021, Old Chicago introduced their Insanity Pizza lineup, Detroit-style pies topped with dollops of sauce and edge-to-edge Wisconsin brick cheese cut into squares so every slice is a perfect end piece. Flavor combinations include the Farmer’s Daughter, fresh mozzarella, blistered tomatoes, pesto sauce and brick cheese finished with fresh baby arugula and balsamic drizzle; the Honky Tonk with cheddar and brick cheeses, picked jalapeno, chili, tortilla strips, and cilantro drizzled with cilantro-lime ranch; and the Buffalo Cluck with buffalo sauce, bleu cheese crumbles, chicken, pickled red onions, green onions and a drizzle of ranch.

Beyond pizza, Old Chicago offers a variety of salads and soup; burgers and sandwiches; pasta dishes; and more. Dessert and kids menus are also available. 

Old Chicago maintains a hearty selection of craft beers boasting 2900+ beers on taps across all locations. Die-hard brew fans can join the World Beer Tour, which offers a taste of beers close to home and around the globe.
