Nathan’s Famous

The history of Nathan’s Famous stretches all the way back to 1916 when Polish immigrant Nathan Handwerker started his own hot dog business in Coney Island with a small hot dog cart.  Nathan’s recipe came from a secret mix of spices concocted by his wife, Ida, and soon regular people and famous people were flocking to Nathan’s stand to enjoy his high quality and tasty hot dogs.
