Mexico Lindo

This Mexican restaurant occupies a small, quaint building near downtown Myrtle Beach but manages to pack them in for lunch and dinner. Offering excellent prices and excellent food, Mexico Lindo is one of those places you do when the family has a big appetite but a tight budget. The lunch buffet is especially popular, and the bar area draws a bit of a crowd during the evenings.

Mexico Lindo Food

Traditional Mexican menu featuring some of the exact same dishes you will find elsewhere, but the overall quality of the food is superior. Lunch specials start at $5 and top out about $8, giving noon-timers lots of inexpensive options, like the lunch portion order of enchiladas or the kids’ favorite Speedy Gonzalez. The buffet features all the standards – tacos, burritos, enchiladas, rice and beans. The dinner is a bit more pricy but offers seafood dishes as well as all the classic Mexican dishes. The Chipotle Shrimp and Steak Asada make a great surf-and-turf selection. Excellent margaritas and other drinks are available at the full bar, and the fried ice cream is a good meal-ender.

Mexico Lindo Atmosphere

Nothing real fancy here, about what you have come to expect from a Mexican restaurant – Spanish-style music over the PA, soccer on the TV and pictures on the walls of scenes from Ol’ Mexico. The bar area, dining room and patio are separated so you can find the right spot for your party’s needs. The staff is fast, friendly and speaks relatively good English.
