Landshark Bar & Grill

Named for the mythical creatures created in Jimmy Buffett’s popular song “Fins”, LandShark Bar and Grill is the brainchild of legendary crooner and songwriter. Located in the heart of the downtown Myrtle Beach district at the base of the SkyWheel, LandShark gives guests a nice place to take a break from the busy summer nights on the Boulevard. The namesake LandShark Lager is served ice cold and generously at this restaurant and bar area, which is a popular hangout at lunch, dinner and after hours.

Landshark Bar and Grill’s Food

Nothing fancy about this menu, just a wide selection of starters, sandwiches, salads, burgers and hot dogs. But what could be better on a hot summer day or night than some chicken wings and nachos? The famous Black and Bleu Burger is topped with bleu cheese and blackpepper bacon, and the Chili Cheese Dog is filled with chili, cheese and onions. Of course, LandShark has to offer some seafood, and it delivers with a fresh-catch-of-the-day sandwich,
peel-and-eat shrimp and a fried shrimp basket. Top it all off with a slice of Key Lime Pie or some liquid refreshments from the bar, like the famous margaritas and, of course, Buffett’s brand of LandShark Lager.

True to Buffett’s Caribbean soul, LandShark features a large, open-air deck that overlooks Mother Mother Ocean, as well as a surf-themed indoor dining area for when it gets too hot or cold outside. The mood is laid-back and fun, with many patrons trying to ingest enough liquid courage to ride the adjoining SkyWheel. A gift shop offers the perfect souvenirs and gifts to remember your vacation.
