La Festa Ristorante Italiano

When La Festa opened in May 2014, it had a tough act to follow.

Moving into a building left vacant by the legendary Cagney’s after more than 30 years in business, La Festa has quickly established its own identity as an authentic Italian restaurant in the ultra-competitive Restaurant Row district.

Owner Tevos Zatikyan and Italian chefs Alberto Andolfo and Matteo Cazzin deliver a unique fine-dining experience.

La Festa’s Food

La Festa offers a combination of Northern Italian classics and all the American-Italian standards one expects.

Wood-fired pizzas, spaghetti and meatballs, chicken alfredo are among the crowd favorites, but the real pride of La Festa is its selection of “bistro cuisine” dishes that are hard to find at many Italian restaurants.

Encorporating seafood into many of its signature dishes, such as the Flounder All’isolana and the Seafood Tagliatelle, La Festa puts its own twist on many authentic Italian dishes.

The same holds true for its “landfood” options, including the Venetian Veal Brigole and Linguini Alla Bolognese, and a wide variety of steak, veal and other chops are also available.

La Festa offers fresh salads and soups of the day, creative starters like the Octopus on the Beach and Seafood Flan, and also bakes its own breads and makes creative desserts in-house. Daily lunch specials are $9.99 and include soup or salad.

La Festa’s Atmosphere

Regulars at Cagney’s will recognize much of the interior decor, including the front door from the former Ocean Forest Hotel and a vintage winding staircase.

Wood floors, mirrors and windows, and a collection local and regional artwork create and upscale environment, and the soft sounds of Frank Sinatra and other classics are a nice touch.

The dining room is large and comfortable, and the service is fast and friendly.
